Forest Park Carousel Amusement Village

This is a neighborhood staple. This place brings back many memories for me as a kid. My dad would take us here all the time. It’s cute that they’ve added another 2 rides, a game or two as well.

The kids had fun! We won some small prizes too

Very nice. Parties end best a carasol and mini Cho Cho train for the children. After all so many yr, my children brought up in Ridgewood, wasn't aware of added family entertainment was available. Nice Surprise for my granddaughter, daughter and myself... Con.. Not enough garbage cans or grass now that I think of it..

This place has been here for a very long time and they've added a lot of cool things but the prices went up I think way too much for the rides.

Awesome place. Charcoal grills are great and the place is clean and quiet. Ideal for kids with the playground.

Great place to have fun with family, relax in the serene atmosphere, catch up with each other and if you want, make new friends.

If you cherish things from the past, then you will enjoy taking a ride & pictures of this original carousel.
Just the faint smell of the oil that gets this huge ride going is enough to take me back in time to 1903, when this ride was built. It was moved here in 1972 from Massachusetts.
The front horses (amongst other animals), in the front remain stationary, while the horses in the back on the upper level traditionally go up & down.
This carousel moves rather faster than most of today's common carousels, and is much larger in comparison as well.
It is worth the visit to take a ride on this beauty! My toddler daughter had a blast & this is 1 of her favorite carousels now.
