I am a frequent customer. The food and service are great and very handy to have a place with lots of parking.

"Absolutely Disgusting"!!!Our usual place for take out Asian food was closed last Tuesday so we decided to give these guys one more chance. What a mistake! I think the food has even gotten worse since we stopped ordering from them a few years ago. Not only was the food gross which I actually threw out, but the cost of this garbage was unbelievably expensive. Not to mention very small portions. The restaurant has not been the same since they were shut down by the health department a few years back . Seriously Stay Away!!
We had heard that Signature Palace was now offering dim sum so we decided to stop in and try it. The interior of the restaurant is typical of most Chinese restaurants but the floor was very dirty. It looked like oil was soaked into the carpet and there was a lot of debris on it. There were also two ants crawling on our table and one smushed underneath the clear plastic table cloth. It wasn't a great first impression.
The washroom was nice and clean. Not too much to say about that.
Some parts of the food were pretty good and others were lackluster. We got beef brisket rice, stir fried rice, and some other noodle dishes. Those were all good. On to the dim sum.
The good: Shu Mei was large and tasty, the plain rice crepes were nicely prepared as well. BBQ pork buns, egg yolk buns, sesame seed balls, egg tarts, beef balls, honey egg twists, steamed spare ribs, salt and pepper squid tentacles were all also good and fairly priced.
The not-so-good: All of our rice crepes were over steamed and would fall apart when you tried to pick them up. They barely had any filling inside them either and were covered in green onion. The steamed chicken feet were tough but the sauce was good. I think they just needed to be cooked longer. The pan fried turnip cake was disappointing. I thought it would be Lo-Bak-Go but I think it was actually Wu-Tao-Go.
The service was pretty good and friendly. I ordered two dishes of chile sauce but when the waiter brought them, they each had about 1/2 cup of sauce in them. Not complaining but it seems like such a waste. Perhaps putting a smaller amount would save the restaurant some money.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience but I think that (a) getting the floor steam cleaned and (b) getting the cooking times on the above mentioned items right would help a lot.

Very disappointing. I have had take out a few times, and have been surprised by the extremely high cost. Yesterday I ordered one dish ($21) for salt and pepper squid, most of it was dried out and tough, mixed with a few fresher pieces. Super disappointing! The location was convenient but this will be my last order. Unfortunately I don’t believe they will make it!
Nice busy restaurant.. quick service good taste.. Ordered Satay Skewers ( came out as deep fried not grilled still okay total 6 pieces in picture only 3 ) .. Curry Chicken is good too but definitely not spicy if you want spicy tell them upfront, Satay Chicken Noodles tastes really good. Recommended Restaurant 👍
Dinner tonight was tasty. The crispy Soya sauce fried Pork chops was awesome. The rest of the meal was well made also. Even the white rice was nice a fluffy. For some of you who are serious about food like I am, you can always tell if the Chinese Restaurant is good or not by how good their White Rice is. Something note worthy, the pricing is a bit higher than most asian restaurants... and the orders can sometimes be lost... so you may need to remind the servers and Kitchen of the missing dish(es). They are also know for their pan seared dumplings and noodles.
Came here for a group dinner on Chinese new year and it was soooo good!! Our favourite are the jellyfish chicken salad and the stuffed deck with sticky rice. The most authentic cantonese restaurant in town i would say!
Also make sure you save some room for the free desserts after main course because those red bean soups or coconut jelly have the quality that you cannot even buy in calgary!
