Pocono Indian Museum

Well worth stopping and taking the time to see everything here. The museum is a self guided tour using a small speaker you carry with you that tells about each exhibit and the history. It was very informative, and you had plenty of time to look at everything. The attached gift shop has an abundance of varied items - cd's of Native American music, Minnetonka moccasins, shoes and short boots, some clothing items, jewelry, postcards, etc. Be sure to check out the upstairs room above the shop because they have a fantastic collection of books about Native American cultures, history, etc., as well as some beautiful native design blankets that are really soft. The blankets come in various sizes as well - from crib size to King size as well as blanket throws.

Can't rate the actual museum because we didn't do the tour. It is self guided and $7 admission. We didn't have time to do it.
We did walk around the gift shops, there are 3 sections. A book area, general gift shop featuring Indian and southwestern themed gifts and clothes and an outfitters shop. All nicely stocked. We enjoyed walking around it.

This museum is great! Self-guided tour is very educational and you can take more time to look at all the artifacts, if you desire. Gift shop and book store have lots of items relating to the Indian culture. I would highly recommend visiting.

Cute small place. They have 6 rooms of things to view. The give you a speaker to who with they explains everything you see. They say the tour takes 30mins, it's really about 15mins. It's cool tho. They have a good gift shop. They also sell ugg products. I enjoyed it

A museum you need to stop if you’re around the area. Variety of souvenirs and cultural artifacts full with history. The tour was very informative too, so illustrative

Enjoyed the 6 room walk through while we were on mini vacation to great wolf lodge . Google it to see sight seeing thing and it came across so we drove few minutes to Indian museum. Enjoyed it. Staff was great and atmosphere was comfortable.
