Really good experience. Excellent service and delicious food. We sat in the patio and enjoyed a wonderful summer evening with friends. We shared a variety of dishes and everything was delicious and nicely presented. Definitely a great place to go in a large or small group.

I've heard such good things about this restaurant, so I was really excited to try it. My friend and I arrived on time and was seated relatively quickly. However, once we got there and got seated, we were not again talk to you for 20 minutes even though other people were sat behind us, and got seated and served before us. The food was subpar. Everything was premade and congealed. The only thing that was really good was the olives and feta as well as the bottomless mimosas. When we first sat, it was pretty quiet, but the longer we stayed the more loud it got, which is to be expected with having bottomless mimosas. All in all not sure I would go back though.

The restaurant is beautiful. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us with a warm smile and super pleasant. Right away we were seated and the server came. We ordered and about 5 mins later food began arriving. The presentation was gorgeous and everything was flavorful.

I was pleasantly surprised by every little detail of this place. My husband planned our anniversary celebration and all the team helped out with the process: since arriving to our reserved table without waiting, to starting the night with champagne and ending it with dessert… I was very grateful to all the staff for making our night more perfect!

• The food was absolutely delicious. Every. Single. Bite. We tried and fully recommend the following:
- The spread sampler
- Fried cauliflower
- Grilled chicken
- Adana Kebab

• For drinks we tried the Gin & Tonic and Basilica. Only suggestion is they would be perfect if they were light on ice, since it melted pretty fast.

• Our server was extremely helpful with explaining the menu to us. His recommendations were on point and the plates he suggested were our favorites. Shout out to Valentino for his excellent service!

Over all, exceptional experience. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the amazing menu!

Love this restaurant. Food is outstanding. Highly recommend the spread sampler, they were all so fresh and tasty. The octopus is absolutely delightful and so tender. Service is outstanding, I cannot wait to come back here again.

Gathered at Agora for dinner on Thursday evening, June 29 at 7:00 PM, dining al fresco, we were seated at the desirable hinge table location to the left of the entrance. The air was fairly cool and the humidity was low as dusk approached, optimizing the ambiance. The outside dining area was about 75% full and lively. Our server, Leo, seemed a bit impatient, and the food runner was thoroughly uncommunicative.

Our first disappointment came when we realized that the online menu did not match the menu at the table. We asked for lentil soup and were met with a terse disclaimer from Leo that lentil soup is not served in the summer. I pointed out that his description did not match the Agora website menu, but he didn't seem to care and quickly moved on, asking what else we would like. We decided to share hummus, which was of decent quality but the portion was notably small, indicating that we should expect small portions for everything we ordered.

The two pieces of pita bread that came with the hummus were small, oval, thick, bready, and overly chewy, which I did not enjoy. I prefer classic pita bread that is round, flat, and slightly chewy. The ingredients for the rest of the dishes were of reasonable quality and fairly flavorful. Another distressing aspect was that our tiny entree orders arrived about ten minutes apart, with no coordination. I'm not exaggerating. So, we weren't able to eat together. My scallops arrived first, and I waited until Ozdal's kabob hit the table, by which time my scallops had gotten cold. We went ahead and started eating our entrees, a couple of bites short of finishing, when Ali's lamb chops finally arrived. In the end, we laughed about it.

The same story repeated with our desserts - Künefe and rice pudding - as well as our espresso and tea orders. As we were finishing our desserts, espresso, and tea and asking for the check, my dinner companions recognized a friend from the Greek embassy passing by on the sidewalk. They called out for him to join us, and we ordered several more rounds of tea and coffee, enjoying conversation until the restaurant closed at ten. Overall, it was an entertaining evening.

Agora exceeded my expectations. The food and drink were delicious, quick and the serving sizes were also great. The ambiance was quiet yet lively. The speed of service was just right. 1 dip, 1 vegetable, and 1 spread with pita was great for 2 people. What a great meal!
