We came to Chicago from MI for cubs vs white sox game & were staying with my son in Rockford & he told us about your pancake house. People there are down home good just like the food Awesome!
This group of employees is unlike any other! We came in for breakfast on Friday last week. Upon our arrival, someone came out to help with the door as my boyfriend's grandma has a walker. After hearing about the loss of her husband that used to come in with her, our waitress was there with open arms to give a hug and all the rest of the staff were just as sympathetic for our loss. Aside from great food, this place has some awesome people working there! Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality, you really don't know how much it means. See you again!
The restaurant has a more worn look than in the past. Food was a bit greasy! The service was great. Immediate seating and quick service with good checkbacks.

Ordered Easter breakfast to go for 6 people. The savory foods needed seasoning-- salt & and pepper, at least! But the sweet foods, SO good!! Also, the hollandaise was done right! Overall, a winner, but savory basics, like gravy, chicken, & taters, lack flavor.
This establishment has an awesome story line, a small family owned restaurant but leaves a huge impression!!! Attentive, friendly, and such a comfortable atmosphere where everyone is friendly. It's my favorite breakfast restaurant, you are always greeted with a smile and sit were ever you'd like! It's family operated, where else do the husband and wife work everyday, awesome family. Please Rockford get in there meet the owners and the awesome food they have. I Love It!!!!
Nice cafe for a good morning start to your day. Great prices for fantastic chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy. They also have good local coffee "Ronnoco" Staff are all friendly, polite and capable.
Great food at great prices. The Swedish pancake melts in your mouth. Three of us ate breakfast with specialty drinks for $31.08.
