Not really a trial, lots of soggy areas, stones you have to step over gaps and very overgrown
Mosquito infested, dirty, noisy
Even though it was winter it was a great train to explore. Saw a lot of ducks and geese in the lake and also other birds on the trail. It can be a little muddy but it’s not too bad. Most of the wet/muddy parts of the trail had wooden board wall style areas to walk on. Highly recommend it. You will still hear the Highway even though you are surrounded by tall weed plants.
Love walking this trail in the summer, some really nice views, but it appears that only the main trail is maintained. The offshoots that lead to the lake are full of trash :(
Not really a trial, lots of soggy areas, stones you have to step over gaps and very overgrown. A few times I expected to be confronted and robbed it was that sketchy feeling. It's not worth it, once you are on the other side you only have the choice of backtracking or going all the way around the entire park/highway.
