I went to the shop with no clue what kind of fish to buy for steaming as my son loves steam fish. Friendly staff Yanti recommended Aus Banded Cod and sure enough it taste so yummy. It’s my favourite seafood market to go to now. Friendly staff like Yanti and Lisa are hard to come by these days. Will see you guys again soon.

Only recently discovered this amazing & incredibly fantastic business! As a lover of excellent seafood I just had to investigate further! Wow! What a huge selection! Unbelievable! Came home with dinner for that night plus a big bag of salt & pepper calamari!!!! Which I can now cook when I feel like it!!!! It's so yummy! Will be going back soon!!!!

Best seafood in Australia I reckon. Remember that great saying from crocodile Dundee no not that's not a knife but the filleters do have great knives .The tourist add with crocodile Dundee saying throw another shrimp on the barby.(that's not a shrimp that's a king prawn. Come and get your fix of fresh and frozen seafood. You won't regret or forget a day in heaven, well cause I love my seafood won't buy from anyone else.

In my last 3 visits I’ve recieved very poor customer service from Yanti. From the start, she was very condescending and disrespectful in her tone and manner, and made me feel extremely unwelcomed and mistreated as a customer.

Interestingly, the Red Emperor that I got yesterday, along with the packaging, had a strong scent of chemicals that resembled that of cleaning products. It was odd - I wasn’t sure if was still safe to eat but didn’t want to return it given the poor treatment that I received. Shortly after consumption, I experienced stomach cramps and knew that the fish was contaminated.

It’s very unfortunate that both the quality of the fish as well as customer service has deterioriated so significantly and quickly in the span of a few weeks. As a frequent customer I have been going to this place at least 3-4 times a week in the last few months without any issue. In contrast to their new hire, their old staff were very respectful and friendly, and the fish were properly handled and safe to consume. They would be happy to answer any questions that I had regarding their fish products. But not with the new staff. Ask any question and she will respond condescendingly with “I don’t know” or give an unhelpful answer using a raised voice, then goes on to crack jokes with her female coworker, making you feel like she couldn’t care less about you.

As a visitor I have never felt so disrespected and mistreated during my time here on the coast. I’m not sure I will be back.
