Restaurant Im Sprinkenhof

I only had one night in Hamburg and found this gem of place. I ordered the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fries. It was absolute perfection. The atmosphere was wonderful (calm, relaxed, inviting), food was amazing, but the service was impeccable. The owners were so kind and attentive. I will be back next time I’m in town!

This felt like an authentic German experience. I had the schnitzel with spiegelei (fried egg) and bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes with other things that was SO tasty), and my friend had curry wurst with fries. Everything was delicious, and our waitress, Silke (I hope I got the spelling right), was just wonderful! I would definitely return!

It's one of those old gems that you worry will be over populated by tourist... all the hamburg classics done right! Frequented by mainly elderly locals at the moment. Underrated.

Restaurant Im Sprinkenhof is worth a visit if you crave authentic German classics. Their schnitzel is out of this world. Beer selection is varied and interesting. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
We waited a bit for the food, but it arrived cooked to perfection. They are quite generous with the amount, and flavor is spot on. Perfect meal for the first (or any) evening in Hamburg!

Great little place they were a little busy at first but as the lunch ended became real friendly
