A secret little straight from France. Hidden away is an experience needed to by tried by everyone.
For the décor to the chef everything was a delight. I was offered a complimentary pairing to enhance my wine paring which blow the taste away. The space is charming, romantic and relaxing after a busy day.
Over all the food was in an abundance of taste dancing around harmoniously.
The hero of the night was the chef. Engaging in conversation, being accommodating, as well refilling my water glass as the wait hadn’t in a while. Conclusion is will come again for a cuisine and the hospitality.

We met Chef Lisa on the Cunard Culinary Cruise in January, and found out about Sydney’s best kept secret, Bon Vin.
Oh my goodness, it did not disappoint! The space is intimate, romantic and perfect for conversation. The food was delicious, and waiter recommendations were spot on, even pushing our group out of their usual menu orders. The wine menu isn’t overwhelming (like many are) and so beautifully curated that making a great wine selection is almost inevitable.
The staff (and even Chef Lisa herself) take the time needed with each table, making recommendations, small talk and checking in.
We can’t recommend Bon Vin more highly, and we can’t wait to make our next booking.

One of the best French bistros outside France.

The service is attentive and exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, and paces the distribution of courses very well - which is very rare in Sydney.

The food is incredible, with the duck ravioli and the complex apple tart being stand outs. Attention to detail is utmost, with the chef carefully balancing fresh fruits with fennel. The sear on the duck main was also one of the best I have ever had.

This place is an absolute must in Sydney.

Had one of the best night in Sydney. Romantic and cosy cellar dining room, friendly waiter and dish is absolutely delicious, I would rank it before Huber and Filex. Slow cooked grass fed beef fillet is a must try, red wine jus was cooked for 3 days. Will definitely come back again

Had the best experience at Bon Vin. Food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff were able to give amazing recommendations and wine pairings with each meal. I highly recommend Bon Vin and will definitely be returning.

Whatever you missed out from the food, you'll get it back from the service. Surprisingly, all the personnel were amazing! Same throughout good service no matter person. How amazing isn't that?! I came solo, without booking, and despite their full booked eve, they still managed to get me a seat at the bar on a busy Saturday eve. Thank you Bon Vin! You suceed . Definitely recommend 🙏
