We celebrated a colleague birthday here. Food is nice and the best part, famous menu are on the wall, just pick and order 😆
One of the oldies Teow Chew restaurants in Penang Island. You will be able to get authentic traditional dishes here. The new restaurant is air conditioned, visited by both locals and foreign tourists.
Their signature dishes include Prawn Balls, Kapitan Ribs, Special Oysters, and don't forget to order the traditional Teow Chew steam fish.
The price is on the high side but it is worth the quality and service provided. Parking is available outside of the restaurant.
It is recommended to make a reservation if you are visiting during the weekend and special occasions like mother's and father's day.

No menu available, asked to see the picture on ceiling only, so we duno the pricing until payment. Food served fast, kailan very hard to bite, not properly cooked, fried tofu taste common, not much beverage option, others all acceptable but just normal.
If u like teow chew dishes. Here is the right place. This time i like the most is the curry pork. The rest is ok compare the last visit. Give it a try, still got other dishes i didnt try yet. U might like it.
Great taste but price a bit above average. One of my favourite dish is their Assam fish. You'll add rice for this. The Te'o chew fried noodles is a must try too (didn't manage to take photo for this dish).
It's new year week so I have a feeling the restaurant is buckling under the load. However if you are looking for an affordable place to eat a good cooking Chinese style dishes with rice then this is the place.
The dishes I fully recommend are the curry rib with mantou. Superb balance of spice and taste. The prawn ball has a crunchy skin and nice filling. The oyster noodle is special and warrants a try.
The other dishes are quite standard and you won't find much to complain about. Except for the mixed vegetable. It was served a little under cooked and has the residual green smell and taste.
Price wise is superb. Even during the cny week, it is incredibly affordable.
Seating however you need to tolerate the cramped table placements while parking can also be a challenge if you come late.

food is nice as for family meal gathering type. not luxury but presentable. taste above average in most dishes
