The Mysore palace is a beautiful heritage of India that is a must visit! The exquisitely designed interior is a marvel to see and experience! It's opulence is at par with any other palace worldwide. Do go and see it if you haven't already. Visiting at Dussehra time is even more worthwhile as the entire palace is lit up in the evening and you get to see the whole city of Mysore decorated! Loved it!

All together It was a good experience. The lighting was mesmerizing. On the other hand it was over crowded. Management needs to work on how to handle such a crowd. Need to have proper barricades at least at the shoe counter. Ticket price - Rs100 adult. The lightning on the beautiful palace will appear at 7:00pm.

It is a museum, so if you are interested in historical things, you can go for it.
Also this place is huge, and I loved most the interior design and crafts. A great place for photos too.
In any case, it's worth a visit.
There is a ticket to go inside the museum like inside the palace but you can roam freely and click photos, without tickets as the place is huge .

Beautiful palace. Visited for the first time. Beautiful designs and unfortunately we couldn't see the view when the beautiful lights were on. Make sure to know the timings when they on the light. On Sunday they have it for one hour I guess from 8-9. Ticket price is 100/- per head
