You can never go wrong when eating at Positano in Wayne N.J.

The atmosphere is wonderful and family friendly.

Luis is an amazing, happy and friendly waiter, who is very attentive.

The owners Steve and Lorraine always come by the table for a chat and ask how you are doing.

The Halibut Francese is spectacular and very fresh. All the fish that is prepared by the chef is fresh and delicious.

The Fig Salad is outstanding.

The Veal Sinatra is always a favorite meal on any day.

The Fried Calamari is excellent. It is always nice crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is served with a wonderful Marinara Sauce.

The specials are always exceptional.

Our local pizzeria is a true gem in town. The pizza is consistently delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's the perfect spot for a cozy meal with a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

let’s get one thing right off the bat No one, and i mean no one should ever come to this place. this is the worst pizza joint in the whole east coast of the united states. The food service was terrible i had to wait 30min for 1 slice of cheese pizza. i told the front cashier that the wait time for one slice is terrible just for the other worker to come and give me an attitude and say “well you chose to eat here and now we have your money” i felt so disrespected deep down i wanted to cry but the alpha wolf mentality that i had told me not to. The pizza was horrible after waiting 30min it came like it was microwaved and dripping in oil. don’t get me started with the amount of bugs and little critters that this place has i had a fly sit across my table like he was having lunch with me and a cockroach next to me like i was supposed to share my pizza with. never coming to this place again. i should call the health inspection on this place because they sure do need one that place is filthy and the managers don’t take care of the place. Despicable! don’t eat here and don’t bring your kids here. you heard it from me. god bless.

I will never be coming back to this place ever again. I was pouring oil on my pizza slice when I noticed something black inside the bottle. I looked at it closely and found out there was a fly in the bottle. I was so disgusted and went to tell the two guys that run the place I guess they are the managers. They tried making a joke about it saying extra protein and didn’t really do anything about it or compensate me. I gave it another chance and went another day and the manager is so cheap he got very upset when I asked him for hot sauce. Then I asked for Parmesan cheese and he disrespectfully said “what more do you want” this was very rude and disrespectful to me especially because the place wasn’t busy at all at the time and I’m the only one supporting his dying out restaurant.

A great dining experience! We have been coming to Positano for years, the food, the service and the owners are wonderful, they go above and beyond! We have all our family parties catered by them. The Catalano Family is amazing!

Positano is a wonderful local restaurant. Conveniently located and with plenty of parking, this byob offers delicious and authentic Italian dishes at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. Many of the patrons are regulars due to the amazing service provided by everyone in the entire restaurant, from the owners to the wait staff to the teens taking pizza orders.

The owners, Joe and Steven, also gladly help out the Wayne community and are always willing to work with Wayne elementary school PTOs.
