September 30th was the fall plant sale day at Reynolda. So not only did we get to enjoy the house and gardens, but we also bought some plants to take home. It was really the best trip I've had to Reynolda so far!

We had a couple hours to kill and a friend suggested to art museum and gardens. This place was amazing. Students get in free to the museum and there is so much to see. If you are into art, architecture, design, or just old houses then this is the place for you to spend a couple hours. It was cool that they had not only the art but the history of the place and family.

The ladies working the front desk were super welcoming and accommodating. The house itself is just as fascinating as I expected and it's a great place to read about the vision of Katharine Reynolds and also how the museum has transitioned into a place that spotlights African American History. Be there at 2:30 to hear the pipe organ play. It's a must-see for anyone who frequents the Reynolda walking paths because you learn so much- like there was a pool and a slide in the woods!

The Reynold House Museum in Winston-Salem is definitely one of the best places for those interested in art. I visited this museum with some of my friends and we were very impressed with its collection and displays.

The museum is located in a beautiful building, which in itself is a work of art and architecture. Inside the museum is a huge art collection that covers a wide range of arts and cultures.

All in all, the Reynold House Museum in Winston-Salem is a great place for art and culture lovers. I highly recommend visiting this museum to enjoy its collection and learn more about world culture and art.

The museum is worth a visit if you're in the area. You can spend a good deal of time here, especially walking around the garden and grounds. The museum itself is fairly priced for what it provides and it's worth asking about discounts since they offer several for admission. It was interesting to see something from the not so distant past and learn a bit more about the tobacco business.

Awesome Museum. Beautiful building and property and artwork! Definitely will go back to explain the village another day. Favorite part was the gardens & greenhouse!

Beautiful and well worth the time and money. We toured Ronaldo house and enjoyed seeing the house and learning about the family that built and occupied this home. So that the very interesting surprise is not spoiled. All I will say in this review is that RJ Reynolds lived here but he Certainly was not responsible for the design of the house or the village that was built around it.

Clearly, we are people who are interested in and enjoy visiting historic homes if you are like us, and you are in the Winston Salem area, or anywhere nearby I would certainly encourage you to pay this property a visit , there is a wonderful story, a beautiful home, and the surrounding village that is well worth the time to see and learn about

If you are an individual who likes to learn about extraordinary women, who do extraordinary things at times, when women were generally afforded very little Power you will find this place to be most interesting.

I apologize for being vague and providing a little detail, but a great deal of the enjoyment in seeing and learning about this place is best discovered by a personal visit.

We would definitely return to see the house again if it were decorated for the holidays.

Highly recommended!
