Shawarma Club

First time here and not sure why never been before as we live in the area. Ate in, got the chicken wrap was reasonably priced for the amount you get (they don’t cheap out on the meat), mixed plate which again was a very generous portion perfect for hubby as he tends to eat double what I do and I can eat! lol plus 2 ayran drinks (yogurt) bill came to $36! VERY reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions as well. And making sure each customer’s order was prepared exactly how they like. We will definitely be back! :)

The food is less than average.
Good genuine people (employees).
The oil used for fries was probably not changed in a long time, fries smelled & tasted inedible.
My first shawarma without hummus, and it tasted awful !!

Hence only 2 stars for prompt service.

Had a good time with lots of food, warm host and one of the best places in Toronto for Arabic food. They even welcomed us after the store hours and served us food. Lots of quantity with taste!

I ordered TGTG previously and they gave me mostly rice and less than the value of the order. I gave them another try today with a chicken shawarma plate. Lots of rice, few pieces of fries and salad all mixed in. The chicken was juicy. Would have liked more salad. Very friendly. 5 stars because there is nothing bad just some desires.

Hands down the best Shawarmas in the GTA! We bought a family platter to bring to a party and it was definitely a crowd favourite. The meat is so flavourful and very good quality - big portions too 👍🏻 Highly recommend. 🙌🏻

Seeing the high Google rating for this restaurant, I decided to go out of my way to try it. It was Saturday night so I made sure to order ahead - 3 chicken shawarma plates, sauces on the side and no onion on the salad. I was told my order would be ready in 15 mins. I arrived 30 mins after calling and there was a line of 5 people ahead of me. This is usually a good sign... But after 10 mins, the line didn't move. The two guys working were clearly overwhelmed. Coming up to almost 45 mins since my order, I heard the employees say that they had no more rice. I went straight to the front of the line and asked about my phone order... Sure enough, they could only fulfill 2 out of 3 orders. :( The food was just ok. The fries taste like the ones that you get at the Costco fast food stand, the chicken was juicy, but needed seasoning. Unfortunately my instructions for no onion was missed. The restaurant itself wasn't the cleanest, and very humid. It may have been an off night, but I found Shawarma Club to be very average.

A great restaurant with great value for the decent sizes! Food is fairly quick to assemble and packed up to-go. The owner is very nice and you can see the attention placed into each order as they assemble and pack it up for you to dine in or eat out.

Their menu is fairly huge on the wall and is very clear to see what is available and their full offerings. Toppings and sauces are mentioned in the bottom left corner. Also, for $1 you can upgrade your wrap to a large flatbread (Saj), what a deal! We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap on a large flatbread and the Fattoush Salad. Everything tasted great and was very fresh. Would come back again to try something new on their menu!

Located near Martin Grove Road and Burnhamthorpe Road, this is in the plaza where there's roughly 6-7 spots horizontally in front of the stores (and also one-way traffic heading west) with more spots in the back. This is also conveniently located at the 50 Burnhamthorpe TTC Bus route as well, so you can wait inside till the next bus comes along!
