What a wonderful, magical place. The butterfly pavilion is pretty cool, and the aquarium itself is amazing - so many different fish, it's beautiful!
It’s not huge in terms or size, compared to others that I’ve been, but it showcases the various marine life there is in Israel.

The Jerusalem Aquarium is a stunning experience, showcasing a captivating array of Red Sea and Mediterranean sea specimens. Additionally, the magnificent butterfly area adds a delightful touch. I highly recommend it for an enjoyable family outing.

The aquarium is awesome and the Butterfly Pavillion is like a tropical fantasy. Butterflies flitting all around and even sometimes landing on you. My grandson insisted that we do the circuit twice, he loved it so much and didn't want to leave! Just be forewarned it's nice and cool in the aquarium in the summer but quite hot and humid at the butterflies (but still well worth the experience!)
The aquarium is well reviewed. There were no surprises, everything is detailed so that individuals visiting the aquarium may maximize their time (and therefore their investment) adequately. The aquarium includes access to the butterfly exhibit outside and across the yard of the aquarium. The aquarium is well designed, easy to navigate, explore, and enjoy. The staff is helpful and available for questions. This is a great place to bring the kids and anyone that enjoys the life aquatic. We brought a few water bottles and some snacks for a rest point that occurs midway through the aquarium. By the time we finished (which is at the entrance), the kids didn't want to eat from the food truck situated there. So we saved a little bit of money. They get some soft drinks.
