The Gutter

one of the employees here ruined this whole experience. Incredibly rude and screamed at my girlfriend for taking a picture of me, because she unfortunately had stepped one step onto another lane (that was not in use) he came running in and screamed at her that "theres one rule and that is to not step on the lanes, and if she did it again she would be kicked out. My girlfriend felt so shut down and got into a very depressed mood the rest of the game we played. This guy had brown short hair, around the age of 25 and a lot of acne. i hope the owner sees this and talks with this employee, because that experience made us never want to visit again, even though 2 years ago my girlfriend was there with her family and enjoyed it a lot (hence why she took me there, and was super excited initially, which was just totally ruined by this horrible employee. Hope something is done about this!

Came here on a date and I felt like the place itself was fine and a fair price to play. I’ve heard good things about the live music and we did get to catch a bit of decent comedy happening in the back. It’s retro/old school (so obviously it’s not going to be a fancy screen and set-up), and I feel like the bathroom area was better than a lot of bars.
Maybe there’s a lot of regulars because I felt a lot of eyes when I first walked in.
This might sound silly to some, but here’s why I’m writing this and put two stars. A staff member bumped into me hard and I nearly fell over. No one else was in the way and I hadn’t interacted with that staff-member. It shocked me and just felt random and nasty to do that to a patron. I looked up expecting some sort of apology or thinking it was an accident but she didn’t even look back. So rude. Definitely not coming back.

They have the most educated personal. You cannot start working here if you don’t have at least a PhD and 9 years experience as a bartender. Highly recommend for small talks. Don’t leave there your resume with the bartender, they will probably throw it in the trash can :)

The lady in the front desk was really rude. İt was an easy Monday night, with not a lot of people but somehow she managed to turn this into a horrible night by changing our lanes mid game, not communicating, and being obnoxious. İ asked what was going on and because they accidentally allowed me to add a third person to my game they shut it off on frame 6. I've been here many times before but overall tonight upset me as a patron and made me not want to ever come back.

Got to our lane and the guys next to us were aggressive about wanting to take our lane because they wanted to spread out and refused to share seating. Then they took the balls we picked out along with the group that showed up after them. The crowd here all look like it’s their first time bowling and have zero etiquette.

Actually this is not the first time I came to bowling at Gutter bar. This time my best friend just want to chill out so I go with her. On Sunday night it wasn't packed, there were 4 groups ahead of us but we didn't wait too long. It was so fun to come with friend no one care the score you get just having a good time.

Bartender and another staff are super casual. The early shift was good but the night shift are kind of lazy and boring. That was one of the reason we left because after changing the shift, we feel the service was not good.

super fun spot, loved the old school vibe. the beer prices are fantastic and the bowling is great. there’s only 8 lanes so i recommend checking in a bit beforehand in case there’s a wait. love the fact that you can order food delivery to this spot since they don’t have a kitchen! we’ll definitely be back.
