We had Bebek Betutu and Satay sampler as our lunch with extra Sambal Matah. The desserts were Es Cendol and Es Cincau. It was delectable beyond our expectation on tastiness and value for money. I enjoyed the menu, the services, and the atmosphere of the restaurant.
The food was yummy. If you're not a fan of spice, make sure to order accordingly as they don't cheap out on the chilis.
They have traditional Indonesian drinks and a good variety of dishes on the menu.
Not too crowded and fairly spacious interiors although a bit dark because of the red walls. The day we went the air conditioning wasn't working properly so it started to get hot.
All in all, decently yummy food for a decent price - I used Careem Dineout to get a discount.

We went here with 54 persons of indonesian group. I love the food especially rendang, and sayur lodeh. One of the best indonesian restaurant in dubai ☝🏻
Went here for brunch, it’s at the lake level so you park and go down the stairs. It is very tropical themed & decorated as such right from the entrance!
The ambience is quite cute. The staff is very sweet & friendly.
We tried:
-Ginger lemongrass tea - it tasted suspiciously like pineapple (?), regardless it was deliciously tropical & refreshing. I enjoyed it, I had to hold myself back from getting a second one. 12/10
-Veg spring rolls - I wasn’t a big fan of these just because the wrappers were (crunchy but) thicker than a regular spring roll? I didn’t like the extra thickness it had. I prefer my spring roll wrappers super thin & extra crispy. My friend liked these though! 5/10
-Mee goreng - we got both the veg & chicken versions. Both versions were served with some pickled veg, fresh veg, and fryums
—-> The chicken version was made with (I’m guessing) sambal paste, which I’m not a fan of cause of the brine-y flavour. So initially I wasn’t very impressed but as I ate, the dish grew on me. I ended up really liking it!
—-> The veg version came with tempeh and it was so beautifully done! It was perfectly crispy and genuinely delicious. As for the noodles itself, I think because of the lack of (what I’m guessing is) sambal paste; the noodles were extra smoky flavoured and delicious. I enjoyed the veg version over the chicken!
Can’t wait to go back again for another bowl! It was very filling for me. They’ve good portion sizes and are pretty affordably priced!

First time I have tried the balenese food. I asked them only to suggest me the beat. And i had Ayam Taliwang. It was spicy and tasty. I liked it. Also their service and the ambience was too good.
We had dinner and ordered Batagor, Lawar Ayam, Bebek Taliwang, and Pisang Goreng Keju. Overall, the taste was good, but the meat of the duck was less, mostly bones were there.
For Batagor, the taste of peanut sauce was lovely. Lawar Ayam was a little smaller, and for me, that’s not authentic lawar ayam. Pisang goreng keju was nicely.

Not bad for the first time. I think they can make the chicken in their nasi goreng bigger? Beef rendang took a while before it got served. I love the dessert!
I hope the lady - one of their staff is well paid as she is the receptionist, the server, waiter, cleaner, etc.
