This place is nice for a quick getaway to a small lake. $5 fee. There's a small beach area for the kids to play but it gets pack quick there. More than enuf room for bbq. Mite have to bring ur own grill and shade tho cuzz it is limited at times. Restrooms are okay but need more. Never caught a fish at this lake but people say there's bluegills, trout and bass. Water smells. No river running into or out so it's just standing water.
This place is one I like to frequent in the fall / winter. Trout fishing there in those seasons is killer. They stock Trout & the Bass are decent sizes around that time. Blue Gills are also crack'in. Most people knock this lake but it's a good place to land some biggin's. In the spring & summer it's a busy park / lake. Other than that it's a good place to take the family for a weekend.
The last time I came here was 10+ years ago. Decided to come back and it was dry and very litte water, but I had a lot of fun and the chilly weather was perfect. $5 entrance is not bad at all. I can't wait to come back in the summer.
There's playground, fishing, swimming, restroom, barbecue. Great for party, picnic, family gathering. It's $5 entry fee at the gate for per vehicle. The lake water quality are depend on the ranger.
There’s a five dollar fee, it’s self pay. There are no doors in the restroom. It’s a bit outdated just stone stalls. There’s a playground for kids and some seating (benches). Fishing area 👍🏼
We love this lake is very nice and has bbq grills and tables for a nice picnic. It has a party area for a big event. Reservation it's need in advance. You can use small boats like battery operated, since it is perfect for fishing. Fishing license is required at all the time. Family friendly and pet friendly. Dogs must be on a leash. It has a nice sandy area perfect for the little ones. There's different areas of the lake where you can have a little bit more of privacy, if you get there early. If you are planning to visit during holidays be prepared to arrive early morning since it is very popular around Sanger and its vecinities. There is a small entrance fee for parking. $5.00 per vehicle. One re-entry is permitted. There's not camping site available. There's a liquor store near by where you can find basic items like ice and drinks. This location is clean and nice kept. Just put attention to the swimming warning signs since there's not a lifeguard on duty.
It's a beautiful place. Specially for the kids and to spend time in nature. The water is warm and so clear and pristine it is a beautiful place indeed. It's far from the city and the restrooms need some help and attention. But like I said it's a remote place but worth it. The kids have so much fun and you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful view and serenity of the place.
