Interesting museum, I learned a lot about the history of Inverness and the mines. Take the time to watch the movie if you can. The staff is very welcoming!
Great collection of memorabilia from the 19th and 20th century. The history of Inverness coal mining is commemorated and illustrated for visitors.
Nice museum, and incredibly interesting to know the history of the town better. Francis was knowledgeable and nice to talk to.

We stopped in at the museum today and it was a wonderful experience. The museum is filled with a variety of items and stories about the town and mining. The gentlemen who worked there was both informative and helpful. I would definitely recommend that you stop by and take a look around if you are in the area.
The guided tour with Ben made the history come alive! He was a mine of information. Older collection and curation, but the tour made it so worthwhile. Thanks again, Ben
