Nice park right in the center of Allston. Wide variety of activities, and a nice hill with views of Allston.
The "urban wilds" part has a lot of broken bottles. It is dangerous for both people and dogs.
The rest of the park is ok, but needs a significant amount of work to get it to its full potential.

Great dog park with communal toys and water.
Basketball courts are adequate, albeit slightly overgrown. The trees and surrounding area do a great job of blocking wind.
The trails are small but nice and peaceful, however WATCH OUT FOR BROKEN GLASS.

Quiet place. Great for people who like to work out alone.
I accidentally stumbled upon this park one day, its pretty cool. There is a playground and basketball court, but it also has some cool hilly trails with large rocks everywhere. The only problem with this place is that it is covered in trash. It looks like a party spot for teenagers. Overall I really enjoyed setting up my hammockand readinga book there.
It's an inner city park with plenty of trash and kids drinking/smoking up on the hill or in the playground at night. Unofficially, people let their dogs off-leash in the baseball field. All in all, it's getting cleaned up a bit. Great if you need a tennis or basketball court.
Great place if you stay on the main path. If you take your dog watch out for glass and needles. What a waste of a beautiful space.
