My first experience at Mushkaki was years ago and I had like a four course meal, which we dined in. It was GREAT.
Over time I’ve been back for The Mushkaki fries, my favourite.
However, I have always wondered if dining in was better than takeout 🥡 when eating the fries.
Definitely nicer when they are hot and fresh out the kitchen. When you bring it home, how would you warm it up afterwards 🥴
Microwave is definitely not cutting it.
Just my two cents.
Next time I’ll dine in. 😉

The Mushkaki fries with the Chichen are something else!!
Highly recommended! Best way is to either order on the phone or Uber eats!

The place was empty lots of sitting places. Ordered beef and chicken burgers. Beef strips, sweet chicken, chicken skewers, soup, mango shake and rice cake.
Pros: The portion size were good and the taste was different. The burgers were surprisingly good. Alfredo pasta was well made. Their signature fries were fresh and well seasoned. The rice cake was well made. The staff was very friendly
Cons: They were out of rice at 7pm. The place needs really good cleaning. Were handing out condiments and plastic cutlery individually - had to make several trips mid dinner to reception to get 1 fork 1 ketchup etc. The mango shake in not even near close to how good it used to be, tasted like blended mango purree.
Overall good food but they should really update the place and clear out the service issue.

Really disappointed in my last couple of trips to mushkaki.
Ordered pasta extra saucy, they charged me extra dollar which is totally fine however they put less sauce than they would when it would be just a regular order (I’ve been eating here for years). They were running low on pasta and stretched the sauce despite me calling two hours before closing as it takes me 45 minutes to drive over.
I also ordered rice and beef strips. The strips are usually charred on the flat top. It looked like they just boiled them and shoved them into the box .
Prices have increased approximately 6-7 dollars for a meal for two people, which again is totally fine because everything is more expensive but the food quality has gotten worse
Tip don’t come here in the last two hours. Hoping these guys take the feedback, try out the place that provides the cake deserts here: D’Amo on Kingston their quality and service is top tier !

I go here a LOT. The food is very delicious and the staff is great too. The food is always made exactly how I order it and the proportions are nice too. The mushkaki fries are worth the price. Much success to the owners 🫶🏻❤️

Not bad for a small place like this. The ambience is very simple, small menu with good options and very reasonable prices. The best for me in this place are the shakes and the seasoned fries. It does get crowded and there’s around 10 min wait to get your food. Parking is available, however it’s a small parking lot. Just be aware, they will try to add as many extras as they can, like sides, cheese, seasoning on the fries, etc., “THEY ARE NOT FREE”
