Great relaxing experience. Ben was a great guide. What beauty we saw including a bald eagle 🦅 flying by. We did the scenic so if you want more rapids this is not the one for you. We also got to feel the hot springs up close and personal which was very healing.

Our rafting trip was EXCELLENT!! Our guide Cross was great, very charismatic, engaging and in total control of our raft. We would highly recommend anyone to take a river journey with Defiance and enjoy the river, rapid’s, scenery- enjoy the beautiful canyon and all it has to offer!! Tim

WOW! WOW!!! WOWZA!!! What an amazing experience! . We got all the safety information and instruction for the “if this/then this,” fitted with helmets and life jackets.. We did see other rafting companies on the river who did not require helmets. I’m so glad safety is top priority for Defiance Rafting.

A short shuttle to the launching point. I was near tears I was so scared. Our guide, Demitry was phenomenal!!! She gave last minute instructions prior to launch. No more time to be scared as the rapids were right there!! AMAZING to take them on-one right after another for the first 20 minutes of the trip. Our group worked together as a team as Demitry used her expertise to navigate us through each set of rapids. The duration of the trip was floating down the Colorado river. The scenery is breathtaking. There are small rapids along the trip to keep it a bit exciting and fun. At no time do you feel like you want the trip to end!

Demitry shared many facts and history of the river which she researched and learned on her own - amazing young woman! She was fun and clearly loves being a tour guide and, and white water rafting. She works hard and it shows from beginning to end! Demitry shared many of her past adventures throughout her life, and was very personable. If we had questions we could ask she was an open book! I just cannot say enough good things about her, her knowledge, and her expertise! I’m so glad she shared it with us! Thank you, Demitry!

I recommend bringing a hat for face protection from the sun. I also recommend bringing a water bottle and a small sunscreen. I also recommend bringing something to take photos. Waterproof phone case would be perfect! To intense to take rapids photos, but so many gorgeous and fun things along the way where it would be safe to take photographs. Colorado sun is hot! Not to worry if you get overheated, there were stops along the way where you could jump in to cool off!

Our 1/2 day tour on the Colorado River with Defiance was absolutely amazing! The entire staff is the best out there and our guide Mike was truly spectacular! Friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable! Very highly recommend and river rafting trip you plan to do so with Defiance!

We had a great time rafting with Defiance. They are top-notch.All of the staff and guides are very nice good-humored folks.
Cross was our river guide and he is a fun down to earth guy! Never a dull moment. The river was like an angry glass of chocolate milk that day! We were told it was rare. We saw a bear riverside! Defiance even emailed us the proofs of our rafting trip after it was over and I was so happy about it because we completely forgot to look at them after our tour. Definitely but your pictures, you won’t regret it.

Our guide Ian was awesome . We were on full day float with lunch provided. The first half was in the large raft then we got to do the duckies for the second half . I would highly recommend Defiance for your white water rafting adventure!
