Tsampa Cafe

This place has one of the best Tibetan food at affordable prices. Love their beef curry. Highly recommended 😁

We landed up in Tsampa cafe cuz Himalayan kitchen had a long wait list.
How good were their momos? Well I have had better and I have had worse . Tsampa just hit the right spots when you are craving momos. And their chilly sauce is good too.
On a side note - the shafalay and the beef momos share the same filling. If you order one you have had the other.
The chilly pork dry was a pass. Too dry and chewy and flavoured with chilly powder ( rather than fresh chillies, soy and ginger garlic )

A late night pit stop, great food, did take a bit of time to prepare, had their; veg kothay momos (pan fried which were good) and had a mix of their chana and Aloo dum (which were very good) but it was their puri (Tibetan version of puri, which is much more thicker). Thanks!

Another Tibetan food restaurant, This whole area is full of them this is my second Tibetan restaurant experience and It was so and so , again u can’t go wrong with the momos, flavours r great but prices r definitely high ,we also ordered the curry chicken it came so watery with really little chicken though but over all good experience and food portions r good, one thing I didn’t like is that they put the food and service it with to go containers instead of dishes everything is served in plastic containers maybe to reduce expenses but I honestly didn’t like that, it’s almost as if if u have some food left u might as well take ur plate

Went here with my wife, it was our first time trying Tibetian kitchen. Food was absolutely delicious and prices are awesome too. Hidden gem, will definitely comeback!

They are smiling all the time and the food is so fresh and good! You can tell them to go easy on the spicy-ness but I’m a big fan of going all out. We were three of us on a Sunday evening, all tired from Saturday’s night out and hungry like anything. We ordered I think a bit too much but we finished it all nonetheless. The “jhol” or the sauce for the jhol momos was freshly made and I could taste it! Right amount of everything and worth the wait. Definitely going back for some more momos!!
You can park on the street or on the parking areas available close by or take the street car. The place is very clean and tidy, and the big windows make it more delightful.

Had some spicy dumplings (M13) that were amazing. The tea is good too, different from anything I’ve had before..buttery and salty. Patio is so nice right now This is a neighborhood gem. And my service was great.
