The food was good. The drinks were above average but quite expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good to sit and people watch from outside seating

Tried to order via QR ordering as was very noisy venue and hubby has hearing issues. Only 1 light beer available and most of the white wines on the menu were unavailable?????and this was a Sat evening. Considering the size of the Merivale Group found this quite amazing.
Left without ordering anything.

Good place to be with friends or family...and chill. Good comfort food. If standing at the bar isn't your thing?!?! Bar to table service via a barcode scan service app. Super easy to use(pay online)

This place has been going steadily downhill for a while. Thought I'd give it another chance but after our first round of drinks we left to go elsewhere. The first round took about 20mins to get served whilst one staff member tried her best to cope with the queues. Meanwhile two different staff members strolled around not doing an awful lot and ignoring everyone. One guy even came behind the bar to pour a glass of wine and then disappeared not to be seen again. This was around 5pm and by the time we left the queue for the bar was even bigger and still just the one person serving!

Mmmm good steak. Look it was a porterhouse not sirloin but still - perfectly cooked and mashed potatoes had a hint of cheese to it. Yum.

Incredibly busy and loud, it’s very close to Wynyard station so it’s packed with people

Food is ok, beer is cold, but I found it hard to hear anything or move anywhere around the crowds on a Friday

If you need somewhere to go midweek I’m sure you’ll have a decent time
