Great place to take children and give them a good day out. Feed the animals and hold some. Great play area, for the kids. Good food and drinks. We went pumpkin picking and had a fantastic time. Great staff and a lot of very polite friendly people around. Well worth going and I'll definitely be back again.

Fantastic place!
Lots to do!
In our tickets was included pumpkin carving feed the animals
We had to pay extra for carrots, tractor ride, rides, which does add up to quite abit.
Did all the activities except show as ran out of time.

Lovely spot for a peaceful and gentle walk close to the heart of Reddish. The fishing pool has a good selection of wild birds, including swans which when I visited were raising some cygnets. There is a path around the pool for a short walk but you can venture further through the vale into Stockport or to Denton along the Trans Pennine Trail. Both are about 2.5 miles away for the Country Park's Visitor Center. The Visitor Centre is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30 to 15:30 and serves drinks and snacks. Good parking with plenty of spaces except at the busiest of times.

Great afternoon out for the grandchildren. They loved feeding the animals and holding the rabbits and guinea pigs. There was plenty of entertainment outside with a magic show amongst others, play areas and rides and a foam party right at the end of the day.

What's not to like? The park doesnt claim to have a lot, so what you have is a very pleasant area with wildfowl and a nice walk around the lakes, bridge and up to the viaduct.
Toilets are clean enough and the volunteers in the shop are very friendly - as were pretty much all of the visitors that we met.
Dog friendly and a picnic area as well.
Very pleasant.
