Your classic beach town, New England esque town square. Plenty of stores and food options for everybody.
Try out the horse drawn carriage, or trolley around town. You also have railroad pedal carts. Nice to see the different decorations for seasons, and you will definitely get in the spirit of whatever holiday it is. Quick walk down to the beachfront as well.

We enjoyed visiting the Washington Street Mall in Cape May. There are many cute quaint shops offering all kinds of merchandise, many diverse restaurants, and it's a pleasure to walk along the cobble stone streets while exploring the area.

Really nice place with a lot of shops, many restaurants, ice cream parlors, etc. Nice to walk around, beach is not far, people are friendly, really good vibes and experience.
I really enjoyed Washington Street. It really gave me a beachy vacation vibe. It had a very nice collection of quaint shops of nice quality. We also enjoyed the food choices. I bought some salt water taffy that brought back childhood memories. For lunch we decided on Lobster rolls. They were delicious. We ordered them Connecticut style which was heated in butter. After a little more walking and shopping we treated ourselves to a Custard cone they were delicious too. I found a toy for myself at one of the shops a little surfer boomerang. I love it I played with him in the waves .
We ended our ocean city vacation with capemay. Had a wonderful time. Love all the shops and had dinner at delanay's. Then went for a horse and carriage ride.
