A great historical Fort. Must see place in Al ain. There is a beautiful big park outside. Entrance is free. The mubarak bin London exhibition was a must-see. A great place for people who are interested in history.

Nicely restored, and worth a visit. Their video on the restoration process is very interesting. And an impressive picture collection.

Fabulous! Interesting history and architecture. The attendants were very welcoming and helpful, offered a small tea and dates after entry.
Uses an innovative cooling system to keep the exhibition buildings cool, so comfortable to be inside.
It's part of the park where there is grassed areas and playgrounds. Ample parking.

We saw a video that explained their cooling system. It was very interesting, amazing, and just plain marvelous. We were setting there so cool, and there was no air conditioning.
I wish I had that system in my house. I was impressed by the fact that in olden times, a person could tell that camel by their footprint.

This marks my first fort visit in Al Ain. The fort is breathtaking and simple at the same time. Tall structures with relatively minimalist observation. The fort has 4 important things to see - The Gardens, the Mosque, temporary exhibition, the old fort and the Mubarak Bin London exhibit before you exit. The temporary exhibition focuses on the restoration efforts and walks through an experience in the temperature controlled temporary exhibit. Pictures speak a 1000 wishes . Feel the history, go with a sense of adventure and see everything and relate to the thoughts of the place and the people that were there 300 years ago

Beautiful historical place. A must visit place in Al Ain. The entrance is free. Parking is available. We were given the taste of local hospitality, with Arabic coffee and dates.

The fort has been heavily rebuilt over the years with a reconstructed gate. The old fort has been retained within the walls as has been the old watch tower. You are served arabic coffee with date in a majlis like setting in reception area before you start exploring the fort beginning with an excellent exhibition on mud architecture across the globe.
