Restaurant le 37

We had a very good meal on 23rd October and so booked to return on 26th. We were very disappointed second time around. I ordered duck confit - a french classic. It was so tough I could barely cut through it, so gave up. It was served with green salad leaves, in my opinion salad doesn’t work with confit. Confit out of a tin would have been much better.

We stopped here on a Sunday evening since the hotel restaurant was closed. We stopped by around 6:30 pm and was told the restaurant did not open until 7 pm. We had a glass of wine while waiting. We ordered lasagna bolognase and sausage pizza. Lasagna was good and pizza was very good. The prices were reasonable.

Great regional food including tender chicken in a wine and mushroom sauce and a rich cassoulet. Good value for the price and area. Very friendly staff. Charming sidewalk and indoor seating on a street very near the Carcassonne citadel. Lunch and dinner.

A lovely restaurant where we were made to feel very welcome. It was à particularly hot evening (37) and so we asked to sit inside where they had a fan and it was a bit cooler than the terrace. We were the only ones inside hence the three stars for atmosphere. The playlist was good though and the waitresses were most attentive and cheerful. The food was very fresh and tasty. We had cod gratin with mashed potato and apricot dessert which was delicious. The Choice of wine was good and the host very friendly and helpful.

We had reserved here as it was near our rental but delayed flights meant my friends were late arriving and trying to find a place to park took longer than expected. As the driver I quickly ran to restaurant to explain delay nearly 9pm by now. The owner and staff couldn't be more charming or accommodating. Once we were there with gin and tonic (fevertree😋 ) we settled in to order one of our party was vegetarian and there was a delicious vegetarian lasagne on the menu. I had the burger special and we shared a generous cheese plate. It was a memorable evening and everyone was so friendly. Thank you 😊 💓

We had a wonderful evening meal here with great food and friendly service. The cassoulet was excellent. We arrived shortly after 7 when it was nearly empty but it filled up quickly after that

I thought this place had the most comfortable-looking outdoor area on the street, which has many other restaurants.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the food (gazpacho, burger, fruits) was excellent, the beer was nice and I was provided with plenty bread and water.
I’d be tempted to book a flight back just to have more of their gazpacho, which was the best I’ve tasted.
Fabulous experience.
