African Lions at Bronx Zoo

The variety of animal species at African Lions at Bronx Zoo is remarkable. From majestic lions to playful penguins, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The great thing about this zoo is that some of the habitats are so large you may not see the animal inside. If you are lucky you will see the lions resting and even hear their roar. Enjoy them from a distance !

So much!! My little guy is 1 and he enjoyed it saying the animals and their sounds. He loved the train! Great for all ages.

So cool the entire zoo is large and you can easily spend a day or two trying to see it all. What a wonderful time.

Zoo requires timed tickets for entry and masking. There are disinfectant stations available at major exhibits and pathways.
The snack shops have outdoor seating.

Such a beautiful zoo. There are so many animals and birds. I was surprised to see such a large variety of birds. The indoor giraffe is so beautiful and it's amazing to see such a large creature so closely. My LO always have so much fun. What I like most is all the animals and birds are so healthy and looks like they are taken great care. Plants and trees are everywhere so that even in hot climate you will feel cool. I love the way Bronx Zoo invest in research of endangered species. Instead of getting membership from profitable zoo I would better get Bronx Zoo membership as they really care for flora and fauna.

COVID UPDATE: Book time slot online from its website. Mask is needed all the time for adults and 2 years above. Minimum people is allowed inside closed

SUGGESTION for the zoo: Please put sign for stairs few meters away so that it will be convenient for parents with stroller and wheel chairs. Most of them go in wrong direction and then there is huge gathering.
