Black Bear Diner Carson City

Horrible. Ordered a meal to go, Pancakes were undercooked, over easy eggs were put underneath the pancakes which made them soggy and covered in yolk, didn’t add the sausage, on top of that got the order wrong 3 times and tried to overcharge. Customer service was not good , very unorganized and rude. Do not recommend

Our server was really, really good. She knew just when to appear.....loved that. She was friendly and efficient! My Bennie classic was super delicious, and my husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs.....totally delicious. We WILL be back!!!

Honestly, about on par with a Denny's. It's clean, service staff is friendly, but it's still tucked into a casino. Food is eh. Like not bad, still ate it, but honestly could have went somewhere else and I don't think I would have missed out. Atmosphere is VERY country. Like 50s ish music playing inside.

Overall, it's okay. But don't go out of your way to stop in.

The best steak, the most delicious steak that I have ever eaten, tender and juicy, and the waitresses are so nice , a wonderful dinner at Black Bear Dinner, I really didn’t think that I could find a good restaurant in a hotel, can’t resist this delicious steak, I ordered second one, highly recommended!

Ordered burger med-rare and I received a burned hockey puck looking thing that tasted like it had chemicals on it and hurt my stomach something awful. My wife's chicken strips were burnt with visible black on them. My daughters burger had onions even though I ordered without.
The owner response says to contact them. I contacted Black Bear twice through their feedback system and left my email address and phone number and nobody has ever contacted me.
I unsubscribed to their email communications today. I'm frankly shocked at the gall of this organization to pretend like they actually respond to people when it is actually only a fake show for the internet.
I contacted this company multiple times using the email they post in the replies to reviews. Nothing but crickets. Not a peep nada zip from them. That’s even more shameful than how awful their food is.

What a treat! Drove all the way down to Carson City to get a Driver's license renewed. I have been to a lot of Black Bear Diners in various States. This one is in a hotel. They also had some slot machines. The restaurant itself was not highly decorated, however, the service and the food were exemplary.

This blackbear diner is tucked away inside the casino might be a little hard to find if you’re not looking for it. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. The tables were clean and I assume sanitized.
The only criticism I have is the potatoes were undercooked and the meat in my all meat omelette was overcooked. But the friendly service made up for it. As you can see in the photos you definitely don’t go away hungry they are very generous portions
