Loved the mosque. Exquisite work and structure...worth every penny...architecture is amazing...

Not that great. You charge visitors to see a mosque?? Even local citizens have to pay really. If someone was going to become muslim..they will not.this is like a tax for 130 dirham and 65 for locals..common. This should be a place to bring people in to meet God.i was in Vatican city and I did not have to pay a diem..maybe I should become catholic 🙂😀

The museum is ok, nothing great really and it is pretty small. I was done in about 15 minutes. I don't think it alone is worth the 30dh entrance fee, but it costs only 10dh if you get a combination ticket with the mosque.

The museum itself was not that great, but we went at 16:00 as the last tour was taking place, and there was nobody at the square. The squares opens up to the public at 17:00 and rapidly fills up, but it's worth it to stay until at least 17:15 for the call to prayer

This mosque will impress you not only by its size but also by the quality of the craft. Only the most talented people were allowed to create it. You may also visit the interior at dedicated hours. They also have a small museum.there and even a small shop handcrafted objects. They have great hammam below but unfortunately it is ruined by rude and incompetent staff - check opinions before visiting it.

We walked into the museum as soon as it opened and were able to purchase tickets for the first tour of the day. There were tours available in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, and Italian at the ticket desk inside the museum. We paid 160MAD each for both museum and mosque entry. While we waited for our tour to start, we walked around the museum. The placards below each piece, showing different components of architecture inside the mosque, are written only in Arabic. The tour itself was a great overview of the mosque and its construction. At the end of the tour, you’re able to stay inside the building to take more photos.

This is the main reason to visit Casablanca. It is the third largest mosque in the world, behind the mosques in Mecca and Medina and one of the few mosques that allows non Muslims to tour. Cost to tour the mosque only is about $13 USD per person. We had a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who explained in detail about the architectural features and materials used in construction. This is a must see for anyone touring Morocco. 🇲🇦
