A place to be for sure! Wish I had spent more time here as I went in the evening. Loved the ambience and got to spend some time sitting close to the water
Excellent place to walk around! There is many informative signs along the path. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy some time outside or learn a bit of history about the area.
The place is great . we were at peasant cookery for dinner.
A truly beautiful and picturesque park. Nature from trees, flowers and wildlife, all alongside the river makes this park unique. I love the different walking paths and many resting/picnic benches and tables everywhere.

This calm and beautiful corner of The Forks pays homage to a 500-year-old story of a meeting of several Indigenous groups who gathered in the area to negotiate a peace treaty. A lovely place to sit, relax, and be pensive.
It was very accessible
Good location. And very well designed. If parking use the attached parkade is much more secure than others.
It's a nice space, but it's overshadowed by the incredible other sights near by

Place is wow 😲😲 environmental friendly place. But I don't know the story of that one round ring and some chairs.

Please share the story if anyone knows that.
It is a nice outdoor walk area, a historical place and we are just going through a walk.
This monument for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ People, is a sad but important and necessary reminder of the reality of some places in Canada. A reminder and call to action so that the past does not have to be the same as the future.

Nice quiet location along the path designed to encourage calmness. Muted colours and smooth shapes with greenery. Gandhi statue is just steps away and you are at the foot of the Museum for Human Rights.
This is such a beautiful location with a fantastic multi use combination of history, indigenous recognition, nature, architecture, children's areas, and modern conveniences. One of the few locations I can think of that has everything and free as well. You can spend 30 minutes walking around or easily relax for the entire day here. No park pass or admission needed to walk the grounds.
Nice heritage building in a good area of the city.
Great to visit during weekday, peace and chill.
Would be nice to have a large area dedicated to all the first Pioneers of Canada, and how their contributions have made life better in Canada. Along with the many innovations and achievements.
As far as buildings go, top notch heritage workplace.

As of January 16, 2024, the Hamilton Building does NOT allow for photoshoots to take place inside the building. Sad to see another amazing photo location leave the city.
Beatific sunny day. Very informative.
Nice outdoor walk area, and we saw the prairie dogs!
It's such a beautiful place suitable for any family gatherings or romantic dates. Nature and civilization are perfectly blended here. You'll need a couple of hours to explore it. Put it on your bucket list when you come to Winnipeg😉
Absolutely beautiful place to enjoy the summers. The calmness of the Red river with the greeneries around is a cherry on cake. It's pretty close to the Forks Market and you can enjoy walking along the banks of the river or bir along the banks of the river. It's popularly called the heart of Winnipeg Downtown and it literally lives up to its popularity.
Hands down, the Forks is the best place to visit in Winnipeg!

Very romantic park setting and scenic along the Red River.

In the summer, we took the guided boat tour which is inexpensive and about 90 minutes long. You'll see numerous musical shows on weekends. Temperatures that summer in July were about 82 degrees Fahrenheit.

In the winter in November and March when it was 14 degrees (which is considered balmy here), the area which usually has events becomes an ice-skating rink and there's a small makeshift hockey rink across from it.

The Forks Market was a pleasant surprise. Every lunch and dinner location we tried was delicious and fairly priced. The BEST croissants I've ever tasted are at the Tall Grass Prairie Bakery. Don't let the long line scare you as you'll be served within minutes.

In my most recent stay, I was at the Inn at the Forks. It's very pricey, but worth it to get a great scenic view in the morning and is in the heart of the park. It's only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Winnipeg.

On a negative note, on my last night in 2020, I took some souvenir photos at midnight along the scenic river and was followed all the way back to the hotel by a meth addict who thought I was taking photos of him and yelling at me. I had to kick the guy out of the hotel as no one from the front desk wanted to get involved or call police.

Sadly, there were some high profile events in 2022 of folks being beaten, stabbed and robbed in the Forks...and this occurred in daylight. I hope they will add cameras in the park that were lacking when I was last there.

Because of the growing drug and crime issue in the area, I was going to give it a 4 star review instead of a 5. Hopefully, law enforcement will beef up their presence here because it really is a BEAUTIFUL place to be, regarding of the season.

I hope the Forks will give you the same enjoyment and positive memories that it gave me and will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart!
Nice quiet contemplative space.

It might be close to Main Street and bustle of The Forks, but the sunken "valley" and wiigwam are a peaceful little oasis. The frame of the wiigwam and the plaques about how it was built are really cool to see. I've really enjoyed resting here for a few minutes as I've biked through The Forks.
Nowadays office space mostly, but had a restaurant on 6th floor, which was unusual. It is connected through underground walkway to Concourse, handy in winters

I can't speak for the building, but the parking outside is good and there's a Pokemon Go gym there too. :)
I went for my exams to Insurance council of manitoba on 4th floor.
I must say the building staff is very helpful.
Super friendly security guard gave me directions to help navigate the endless maze of Winnipeg’s underground downtown tunnels!

Beautiful stonework
An historically significant place in North America. This structure and location pays homage to the Aboriginal influence and significance of the meeting place of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers.
Very Nice and Friendly Grain Exchange. Far away from the Chicago Board of trade. For any grains trader, it's a must to see and visit. Very friendly staff and broker.
