Just popped there with my daughter and wife once driving back from 100 trial. All perfect. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
To learn more about Porterville and the local area you must pay a visit to the museum. They have events and classes. Help support your local museum and join as a friend of the museum for only $20.
Lived here for almost 30 yrs and never got a chance to check it out till this year. The kids and us adults loved it. Spent almost 2 hrs exploring and taking photos. Went during their Train Show event.
Great place for kids, especially during the Vintage Train Show that runs from the day after Thanksgiving to Jan 1. The staff is incredible..
Staffs were very kind and helpful. They were very knowledgeable. Great place to visit in Porterville!
It's a great place full of local historical fun!
The stories of so many lives and events that essentially created Portersville can be found; you merely have to take the time to trully see it.

Husband and I stopped in for drink. The atmosphere is fun. The music choice is excellent. And every staff member was so nice.

Great rebuild
Everything from Native American Baskets to early settler relics and more. The six week rotating exhibit was on an 80 year old local Porterville tradition: the Barn Theatre, which carries on still. Staff let me take a peek around even though closing at 3PM ( summer hours).
