I had the honour to be a guest of a meeting function inside the citadel. It feels really good being indoors.
Food and service were really good.

Nice place, pretty and scenic however, the Military personal inside didn't take kindly to me taking an afternoon jog across the main plaza, found myself in the ER with 3 bullet holes to the chest very fast. Overall, nice bed and breakfast.

Quite an impressive building, I only walked around the perimeter as this is a working base, but I think it is a English Heritage property and you can book to tour it.

Great piece of Plymouth's history with stunning views, shame it's been left to the hands of nature and the vandals, for a historic monument you thought PCC really would have taken more care of the old girl, but still a great place to come and visit this place was active during WW1 and WW2

Very overgrown and derelict, but if you love your history then Brownhill Battery is the place for you, no wheelchair access I'm afraid and be prepared to get stung

It's worth a look at to see reality of the 2nd world war and they could be you working to help protect England . Shame about how it's been looked after .

A great part of plymouths history. I was very lucky to go and see the magnificent views from the battlements. Hope it never gets replaced.

Dodgy little place but not a risk like the private campsite in the fort up the road. I’d still stay clear.
beautiful part of England definitely worth visiting on a nice day.

Although you can walk around the outside of the fort itself, due to the fact that this is an active army base, civilians are not permitted inside.
Nice walk. Great view

Love the Coffee shop here as it is a little quieter than the Costa at Marsh Mills.
