Cristo Rei is a very nice place, peaceful, and you get the full view of Lubango City. If you are going in the evening take warm clothes as it tends to get windy and cold. There is also the signage LUBANGO where you can take pictures.

A place where you can get the whole view of the city, it’s amazing how the city of Lubango is surrounded by mountains and it’s beautiful to be able to see the whole city.
The sign it’s more like the Hollywood in California but in a small scale it should have been bigger but it’s still representing the name of the city and you can see it from far away.

It looks old and abandoned the province government needs to privatize it and have a private company managing it, the light are off, the door it’s locked, the is a great place to be left like this, we need to fix one of our greats tourism’s place.

Great tourist venue making Lubango unique. It also provides great views of Lubango itself. You can really get a good idea of the landscape and size of Lubango from this location.

Worth coming here if you are visiting this city.
If you are lucky enough, you may see an aeroplane descending to the domestic airport nearby, and you get to see it at your horizontal view. Pretty amazing.
