Visitd the Serrento War Memorial as part of our Bay Trail walk. Just post ANZAC day, so flowers and tributes were still visible.

Very grubby, we sat in the shade for a while, it needed a darn good flush out, old food was strewn about, the rest was dirty, dusty, and simply a mess. I would have gone elsewhere but there weren't many options.

It's a simple replica of what used to decorate the foreshore. It offers a little shelter from rain or sun but is open to wind. You have the vista of the whole 'bay' of Sorrento front beach. The proximity to the main road is distracting, with the constant traffic noise. It has a small table around the center support post, with seating around the perimeter.
