Meal was delicious. It’s a huge platter so a meal split is best here. Would like to return to try the other platters someday. Great tasting experience.

The food was great but the service was terrible. We had to go to the counter to ask for plates (we weren't given any) , to refill water to get napkins and everything else. Not once did anyone come up to ask if we needed anything. The restaurant only had one other table occupied and was not at all busy or understaffed. Ywo people were at the counter just chatting.

This was one of the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant, all the staffs are amazing and welcoming and oh the food, the food is delicious and trust me you won’t regret it, it was hot and so tasty, the best afghan food i have had in my life plus very affordable, thanks a lot guys! :D

The Warst Afghani Restaurant Food Have Ever Tasted They Lied To Me Being Persian Restaurant When Infact Afghani Restaurant. They Lied To Me About Having Safran On My Rice. Even What I Ordered Is Not The Plate I Got. I Did Not Get My Money's Worth. Even The Rice Used In My Plate Was Not Afghani But Was In Fact Arabic Rice.

This restaurant was simple yet amazing we took the family platter and they gave so much food for so cheap and our waiter was very polite and nice highly recommend if you want one of the best afghani food near downtown ottawa

The food is very good and tasty. Nice people, warm greeting and very hospitable. I Must mention, Thanks for The special Chai (Tea) ❤️.

I arrived there somewhat after 10. I Felt bad because they close at 11:00 but I was too hungry not to go. The receptionist was very friendly and kind. I chose the lamb shank stew. It was cooked very tender served with rice. Veggies and flatbread on the side. The taste was not remarkable, but they had fresh ingredients and the meat was cooked well. The art on the wall was beautiful and the whole store was nicely decorated.

Food used to be good, prices have gone up and the portions have gotten ridiculous . This is a 23$ plate ... where's the rest of my meat

This is a large chicken qorma for $10.99 and there was barely any chicken. I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant!

Everything was perfect, delicious and the service was great too. Was quite happy to see the complementary tea after having all that good food.

The food was all right in a sense that the meat was dry and had some flavour. The salad was one piece of romaine lettuce chopped up and three slices of tomato. Very heavy on the rice.

AVOID THIS PLACE..I'm only putting 1 star because I have no option to put 0. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I ordered 2 platters, the beef and lamb chop, and had to throw everything out. The meat is spoiled, the decaying pungent odor permeates the container. It's disgusting. I GOT SO SICK. I came to read recent reviews and found out I'm not the only one. Save your stomach and go elsewhere.

Ambiance: I have been visiting this exact restaurant (building) for the last 15 years. What I mean by that is I have seen the different changes of cuisines & businesses. The restaurant has been renovated over the years. It is now called Ariana Kabob House. There are booths along the wall, the large windows which are meant to be opened during the summer time to create a patio like feel. I have to say, in their effort to be more modern, the cultural authenticity of the place which made it unique is not there.

Service: I believe this restaurant is now under new management. I could hear the other patrons in the restaurant complaining that the service was different. Here is the thing about this place. You go, pay for food and not ambiance or service. You find your own seat, once the food is ready, they will bring it over but that's the full extent as to the service. If you require anything else, you must get up and ask for it.

Food: They were out of some items on the menu. Chicken Tandoori, the portions were large and the chicken was flavorful. The chicken tandoori sandwich was equally tasty with exception to the fries which were basic. The beef kabob was tender and juicy. The rice was cook to perfect as well. We did have to request sauces on the side as it was a little dry.

Overall, the food is tasty, the portions are great.

At first when we first entered the place was slightly messy but realized they are just busy because there food is amazing.
We ordered the 3 kebab plate with mandi and honestly it is all good.
Atmosphere is very nice but missing music!

We had to wait while the table was cleaned and staff was super friendly. They forgot one kebab but apologized and brought it after 2min only. Very friendly ladies and very clean.

I would come again. The plates are super big! My wife and I shared one plate and it was $24. Refer to photo!

Delicious Afghani food with very generous portions. Spicy level is not right though, needs to be more spicy. Great service overall. Amazing bread, always fresh.
