Even though it was humid I loved every minute spent here. Greenery waterfall fountains ducks peacocks history parks trees flowers n what not. In winters this place would be WOW The cafe also looked good. It was closed early morning vibes of this place is just too good.qutab minar in background tombs n baolis rose garden boat house OMG couldn’t see everything properly because heat and humidity forced us to leave.
Situated right beside the Qutub Minar Complex, this is a huge site housing a number of historic buildings and ancient ruins. It is relatively uncrowded or rather empty when you compare it with other monuments and historically important places in delhi. Certainly a great place for your early morning walks!

Vast green 117 acre span garden. It has some ruins and Ali kuli khan tomb. Good place to spend some time with friends. Peaceful place. Less crowded. It’s a good place to visit. There are others attractions such as Raja ki baoli and cafe and rose garden. Pond is not clean water is smelly and green. Qutub minar is visible from its green park. To visit tomb area ticket required of 30 rs per person.
Good fort kind of structure in delhi right next to delhi zoo. Very calm and not so crowded during week days. It is maintained well.Purana Qila is a fort complex thats thought to have been in use in various guises since the 5th century BC and possibly even mentioned in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The most interesting buildings in the complex are the Qila-i-Kuhna Mosque, Sher Mandal and the museum.
Definitely worth visiting when in Delhi, give yourself a couple of hours to see everything.

It is an awesome place to visit in New Delhi for both couples and families. This is an evergreen park and monument. You may visit this place any season from 10am to 6pm.

I recently visited Mehrauli Archaeological Park in Delhi, and let me tell you, it was absolutely fascinating! The park is a treasure trove of historical sites and ancient ruins. As I explored the park, I was in awe of the rich history and architectural beauty that surrounded me. From the majestic Qutub Minar to the intricate carvings of the Tomb of Balban, every corner had something unique to offer. The park also offers a serene and peaceful environment, making it a perfect escape from the bustling city. If you're a history enthusiast or simply love exploring hidden gems, I highly recommend visiting Mehrauli Archaeological Park. The nearest metro is Qutub Minar. You won't be disappointed! 🏰🌳
I am giving this place a 5 star rating because it is one of the less explored forts in Delhi, also a beautiful view with a lot of greeneries.

Had a fun afternoon exploring the ruins of the Mehrauli Archaeological Park with friends. It's a fantastic spot for anyone interested in Delhi's rich history. We wandered through the ancient tombs and stepwells, really getting a sense of the city's past.
The park is also surprisingly peaceful, with plenty of space to spread out for a picnic or just relax on the grass. It's a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Delhi.
However, it would be nice if the park had a bit better upkeep. Some areas felt a little overgrown, and a few signs with more information about the monuments would have been helpful.
Overall, I definitely recommend the Mehrauli Archaeological Park. It's a fascinating place to explore, and a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon. Just be prepared for some light adventuring!

Place is huge and beautiful. Few of the buildings are still intact and in good condition but some of the buildings have just turned in to ruins. The whole complex is nicely garnered and kept clean.
But the only thing i didn't like about the management is that they allow people to make the walls dirty of the fortress.
Even inside the walls of the mosque names of the people has written which gives kinda bad impressions.
If i talk about the ticket prices, ticket costed us rupees 50, which had inclusion of museums and other galleries.

A hidden gem in Delhi, right next to the Qutb Minar complex.
Ample parking space, and fast becoming a popular spot for all those who like to walk around historical places.
Wear comfortable shoes, carry water and food for a day out. Plenty of monuments to explore in this place.

This was the most incredibly awesome experience. We walked up and down the ruins, for miles and miles.. Without getting tired at all. Some parts are well maintained, others desperately need to be kept viable. This is a treasure house of history, where the broken forts, tombs, walls call out to the visitors. The wind suddenly blows and whispers tales of valour, of glory, of intrigues and plots..
The government needs to put aside more funds and detail experts to maintain the structures.

A good place to spend sometime with friends. However, many spots aren't allowed to enter for visitors. There's not much to see here just some old buildings but it has very large area and you can relax in the park .
Beautiful place. The place has been renovated very nicely. There are nominal entry fees to keep maintaining the property. One can do a picnic in the gardens. The Metcalfe Guest House and the Dome looks beautiful and renovated nicely. The water bodies are not very clean but work in progress and they are soon going to start boating also. The newly opened Stone Cafe has good food and lovely open space to sit. It is a great place for couples, families and friends. Must visit on your list. If you are a jogger u can get a monthly pass for jogging or walking inside the park. It has an amazing view with Qutab Minar at the backdrop.
History spanning centuries bang in the middle of the city. One of the Oldest known forts in India right next to one of the oldest known temples.

An ideal place for early morning walks, deep conversations, sometimes just for perspective on life. Also has a decent museum for those interested.
Also next to it is the Zoo- an idea of a place where the uncivilised lock the civilised in cages. Although if you want the real animals, they all have bungalows not too far away.
