Coolest spot: Michael Forrest River Walkway!

Such an amazing trail for walking and taking in the gorgeous views and wildlife. We frequent it often for dog walks.

Beautiful, quiet, and easy! Good for walking, biking, running, even skateboarding…
Take water as no fountain available on the way.

Traboulay PoCo Trail is a gem in PoCo. We love it! People from all ages enjoy it by walking, biking, resting at boardwalk.....it's so accessible and nice. PoCo residents are very blessed to have it.

Beautiful walking along water. Long or short. Bikes dogs. Magnificent views. Wonderful

It was the most amazing bike trail I have been on ! All 7 of us were floored by the beauty and loved how easy it was to ride, how different scenes we were able to ride through. We are dying to ride this trail again soon!
A friend who customarily rides this trial also says to try riding it reversed, it’s like riding a totally different trail. Haha

Wonderful well paved trails that connects several parks and neighbourhoods in the area together for easy access. You can see people from all walks of life using this trail. There are also a lot of interesting views to take in such as the river, the forest, the metal swimming salmon art, and lots of Continuum educational signs. You get to pass over rivers, under bridges, and through the woods. There are several exercise equipment that could be used on this trail as well. Highly recommend for anyone thinking of doing some light exercising or grabbing a coffee and walking and talking with a friend.

One of the greatest things about British Columbia is it’s beautiful parks which are mostly maintained and protected for communities to use or explore.
All its parks span the range of terrains, flaura, fauna , climates and wildlife (some parks) which astonishes you when you go for the first time but become an obsession at certain time.
During this quarantine time, i took a plunge to explore outdoors and especially parks and hiking trails small or big, close or far from surrey( my hometown)
This port- Coquitlam park is just 15 mins from my house as i live on the outskirts of surrey and close to Coquitlam. Its basically a trail of 12 km which expands to huge area covering roads, lake, natural plantation on the sides. Some area is gravel and some is a plain road. Ocean looks so calm like a lake from thos angle of the park.
You can bike around it or maybe just walk or run but do stop to take some spectacular views at certain times like the sunset. There are benches with perfect spot for a little rest. Though there is no trail leading smoothly but rough and wild ones to go to the beach( not exactly beach but edges of water ). If you plan to do it all then take ur water and go for it, else take a small walk on road trail and still feel fresh.
Parking is some 100 meters before the actual trail starts. It was gorgeous for me.
