This place has been opened for years, but now they should close and renovate. There is standing water which is gross and west nile has been lurking. It is BROKE DOWN for real. Would never eat here. Would love to return once this happens. **Visited mini golf area, not driving range**

First and foremost , great and beautiful establishment . Was greeted by two fine men by the name of Frankie and Nick XD. Amazing course great menu of food and drinks and outstanding cart service . 10/10 would recommend.

DO NOT GOLF HERE. I was accosted by a crazy man in the Splitrock parking lot after trying leave. He was aggressive, yelled at me, prevented me from driving out of my parking spot, and chased after my car after I finally managed to maneuver away. I called the pro shop to let them know about the situation and Sebastian at the pro shop told me, “We’re not affiliated with that person and can’t help you” even though it happened in the Splitrock parking lot. Took zero accountability.
On top of that, the course was extremely backed up. Tee time was Saturday 8/3 at 1:30pm. My group of 3 could only get through 3 holes in 2 hours before we gave up. No one that worked there took any accountability to speed up play. I spoke with Sebastian at the golf shop, and he blamed the Starter. I spoke with the Starter and he blamed the Ranger. I spoke with the Ranger and he blamed the Pro Shop and said it’s always like this on Saturdays. Dean, the Manager was no where to be found to issue a refund. If IDGAF was a golf course, this place is it!

We are beyond thankful and grateful for everything Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf Course did to make our dream wedding come true. We just got married this past Thursday and John was so helpful with our whole wedding process and would get back to us right away if we had any questions. The day before and the day of our wedding Al went beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. He was so friendly and easy going. Kristin our maitre d’ and Alexis our bridal attendant was so attentive to my now husband and myself. They were very sweet as well. The whole staff was so nice and great throughout. Our guests kept raving about how beautiful the venue was and how good the food tasted. The whole staff at Pelham also worked so well and closely with all our vendors which made everything ran smoothly. We are definitely so happy that we chose Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf Course as our venue for the most special day in our lives. Thank you so much.

Was pleasantly surprised with the course, grabbed a last minute tee time the night before and had gotten mixed reviews.
The greens were well kept and clean, the rough was decent, the traps were a bit of a mess but we had a 11 tee time on a Saturday so that really falls on the golfers than the course and the tee boxes were solid. The course was nicely layed out too.
If it's your 1st time there, the check in, get your cart, bag drop situation is a bit confusing. My buddy drove and they charge for parking but only take cash unless you pay at the clubhouse which doesn't allow you to care for that and then park. They make you park on the side, check in, go back to your car and then return to the bag drop/parking lot area. I uber'd and even that was a bit weird, the front is right there but there is no bag drop section, it's down the hill by the parking lot, so my option is to walk down leave my clubs by the cart pick up, go to check in to grab a cart ticket, go back down the hill to get the cart and clubs.
Not horrible, but been to courses where the check in is much smoother and practical.

Nice evening practice. Fun place for families, batting cage, mini golf and refreshments.

Pelham Bay Golf Courses disappoint on all fronts. The fairways resemble neglected patches of grass, while the greens are nothing short of a golfer's nightmare. Each putt feels like a gamble on uneven terrain. Adding insult to injury, the relentless presence of mosquitoes turns every swing into a battle against nature's pests. Save yourself the frustration and find a course worthy of your time and effort.

Prices are decent but the flies and bugs have been awful this year. Both times this year I’ve gone around 5 o clock and went home with 10-15 bites. Won’t be back until something is done

Good driving range, has trackman bays and very reasonable prices. Generally good conditions. Bays have heaters for the winter but they don't do much past a certain point. Would be nice if they had a better short game area, but overall very good outdoor driving range option very close to the city

Nice track, great shape, fairways and greens beautifully maintained. If you’re going to play Pelham/Split Rock, the Split Rock track is the course to play.

TCR is a very unique recreational facility that has everything a family or individual might want in a super-convenient Riverdale location close to Westchester and Manhattan.
My kids have flourished in the tennis, golf, swimming, after school and camper programs, and I personally love the fitness center, yoga and steam bath.
The staff have always been friendly and willing to work with me to suit my family's needs, and I hope we continue to enjoy being members of TCR for many years to come.

Great family-run facility, we are members and have kids in the afterschool programs (swim, tennis & golf). Staff are very responsive and our kids have a lot of fun

TCR is a family run business & has been my savior for many years. There is a great selection of classes taught by motivating & supportive instructors. The pool, sauna & steam room was recently renovated which now has its own heating system, so lovely especially on those cold winter days. Barbecues, holiday parties & special gatherings are all part of the clubs resume. Theres so much to say about this club, my best recommendation is to try it out. I am moving out of NY & TCR will be REALLY MISSED❣️😎

Jolene is such a great trainer! Her Splash Fit Class is awesome & I highly recommend to anyone who wants a fun, intense workout!

One of the worst clubs in the city. Coaches come and go. Josh typically lies about his involvement and will often have more kids on a given court than promised. Avoid at all cost. They will probably respond with a canned answer about the coach to player ratio, and the care they feel for their players. Words ring hollow when they're not backed up by fact.

It's such a great spot for tennis! Brent, Josh, and all the staff are super nice and are fantastic pros. I feel that my level is much higher since I've been going there. I only use it for the tennis, I have not used the pool or other facilities. Highly recommended if you want a good/nice tennis experience and want to raise your game.

I've really only used TCR as a tennis facility and for that I can say it's excellent! My husband and I regularly take lessons there and we both are finding our game so much improved. All the staff are friendly and professional but in particular we feel so lucky to work with Josh and Brent. I take a clinic weekly with Josh and if it weren't for his boundless energy, tough love and purposeful encouragement as well as supreme skills on the court I'm not sure I would be able to get myself there every week. But, thanks to Josh, I look forward to it so much. He makes it fun, a great workout, and a high quality investment in skill development. My husband and I also take doubles lessons with Brent regularly and there is no pro with the encyclopedic knowledge of the game that Brent has and is able to impart each time! He's been able to help us strategize our doubles technique as well as work on all the individual skills we need (even at our very disparate levels). I've recently started competing in doubles league matches and if it weren't for the instruction I've received at TCR from Josh and Brent I would be in no way ready or confident enough to do so. For high quality tennis instruction in the NYC area, TCR is an excellent value and I cannot recommend Josh and Brent enough!

My wife took my son and one of his friends to try out a tennis session. She told the club if boys liked it they would come back weekly. Kids did not love it so we did not come back. fast forward months later. checking Credit card statements and see huge bill from club. they charged us each month
for like 5 months and we never were there once for tennis clinics. We checked with other parents and found out they were charged also for lessons they never attended. i find it hard to believe this was an oversight. can’t charge for like 5 kids who are never there. someone would notice and question the charges. The club did the right thing and reversed charges but be aware and don’t give your CC or call them and cancel if you decide not to play weekly. We found 3 other parents also charged for months of tennis they never attended.

A great place for group events, open area, clean area and courteous staff.

The bacon, egg & cheese sandwich is delicious. If i had to complain i’d say the sandwich would’ve been better if the roll was toasted. I played split rock, 18 narrow holes with a golf cart.

Played Split Rock for the first time this year (2023) and found the course to be in great shape. The tee boxes and fairways were well kept and the greens were all in great shape. The course is actually pretty challenging, with tight fairways and wavy greens. It is a NYC public course on the border of Westchester making it very convenient if you live in the Bronx or lower Westchester.

Very clean place to go practice. I went at night and it was super peaceful. Not too many people around. I saw more deer than people. I'll definitely come back.

One of the most wonderful experiences for family adventure/fun around the Bronx.
Also great for golf enthusiasts, to improve their game. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Cozy nook with great pros and great amenities! Rick Nielsen, the head pro is awesome! Entire staff is knowledgable and highly attentive to your needs. Beautiful range with a miniature golf set within its parameters. Decent snack bar, great deals overall. Pro shop is available, just ask one of the pros and they will be happy to help you. Free parking, easy access (very close to Pelham Bay/Split Rock golf courses). They also have a few batting cages, as an added bonus. Much more bang for your buck than Randall's Island Range. Their new partnership with Pelham/Split Rock Golf Courses is another tremendous deal with the use of The Players Club Memebrship—helps the visit to driving range a much more valuable and exciting event!
