On this occasion my selected meal was mediocre. I had a vegetable and chickpea biryani with some extra paneer cubes thrown in. Unfortunately the rice was somewhat over cooked and mushy. The sauce was okay but needed more flavour. The ambiance was pleasing but the background Indian music was a little on the loud side considering how few people were on the premises.

unfortunately, failed to live up to the expectations one might have for a restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt lackluster and uninviting. The decor was tired and in need of a refresh, contributing to an overall sense of neglect.

The service was equally disappointing.

The food itself was the biggest letdown. While the portions were generous, the quality was severely lacking. The dishes we ordered were bland and flavourless, lacking the vibrancy and depth one expects from Indian cuisine. The naan bread was dry and chewy, and the overall experience left us feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled.

Frankly, we were left with the impression that Dhaba Coventry is simply not prioritizing the quality of its food or the experience of its customers. For anyone seeking authentic and delicious Indian food, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This establishment falls far short of the mark and is not worth your time or money.

Staff told me a half sized child's portion was possible, then provided (and charged for) a full portion. Food arrived and when I queried, they changed their story. One of the meals I asked for was missing too, as staff not paying attention. Utterly useless. Will not be going back and will stick to the Vineyard from now on. Way better.

Amazing food, amazing service, probably the best curry we have had out in a long time.. Maybe ever! Super fresh ingredients, we had the chicken tikka, chicken Balti, lamb loaded fries, garlic naan and keema rice. Couldn’t recommend more.

Rits was so lovely and helpful, we will 100% come back. The guy doing the black magic bought the entertainment!

I tried this place for breakfast for the first time today. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. It gets really busy, even mid week but worth the wait.

Food is as very tasty and good portions. Cash only, which isn’t a problem but come prepared. Requested changes to dishes with ease and very helpful staff. Not been for a while but enjoyed it overall. Need to put the heating on as it’s freezing in there waiting.

One of the best Chinese takeaways! The food is always super crispy and freshly made. Really friendly service too. Definitely worth trying!! <3

Have ordered from here for many years and always had great service and food.
However tonight I was told it would be an hours wait, called just after the hour to be told he said 1 hour 20 mins its currently sat on the side waiting for the driver so will be with us very soon.... 20mins later phone call still on side waiting for driver...
1 hour 45 later arrives, poor quality cold. £50 worth of food

Best kebab in Coventry! Honestly wish I knew about you sooner. I love that you use a the highest quality meats and ingredients, so no fat or gristle - which is my main thing with kebabs. Every bite is sensational and so moreish 😍. I love the flavours in the meat also, it’s so moist and tasty you could have without any sauce. I will be raving about you forever 😜❤️🙏🏾! Mixed kebab, Iv had wedges, just salad or wrap. All exceptional 🙌🏾🙌🏾

just grabbed a couple of spring rolls from here tonight on the 5th of october,and may i just say they bring heaven to my mouth.The man who served us was lovely and brought light to coventry.whick service and would go there again

I had the best ever take away tonight from Miss China Tile Hill. I have had many meals from Miss China this one was amazing. Looking forward to the next one.

Food was good, had our usual kungpao chicken, chips, singapore rice noodles and two cans of pop. All dishes came out decent, we were lucky the chips were freshly fried, so it was nice and hot.

Good kebab, £4,50 for a döner wrap, sadly no pitta option. Overall definitely worth the price.

Great tasting coffee and lovely cakes and pastries to go with it. Friendly, helpful staff.

The food isn’t only delicious but is also very affordable and is made fairly quickly if you’re in a rush. The staff are very friendly too. Would definitely recommend it for a filling quick meal

A word of advice: avoid Allesley House Chinese. I received prawn balls in amongst my chicken balls, inadvertently biting into the prawn was almost enough to make me sick as I detest seafood. Although they agreed to recook my order, there was no apology for the significant mistake. I can only hope the person who ordered the prawn balls doesn't end up biting into one of my chicken balls. Thankfully, I don't have any food allergies!

In addition to the lack of apology, I was surprised that there was no goodwill gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience of having to get dressed again, repack my food, and drive back to the restaurant, wasting my fuel.

After a heated discussion with the manager/owner, I decided to take my money back and never return.

A definite family favourite for us. Been going to My Dhabba for years and the food is always excellent. The staff, especially Bishal and Hamzat are great, friendly, nothing is too much effort.

Last time I came food was spot on, but today it was average.
Samosa chaat was 2 samosas, some yogurt and chickpeas on a plate with 4/5 slithers of coriander. They must have run out of coriander as other dishes were lacking it too.
Food just lacked taste.
Mango lassi was awesome and portion sizes good.
Don't recommend the paneer mushroom biryani here.
Hoping to enjoy a nice meal but sadly let down

Decided to check out the crispy 1/4₩ Duck, well all I ended up with was a portion of skin and fat, Heaven knows where the duck was.
Very disappointing.
It's a shame that I couldn't post a photo.

Meal was lovely even my fussy children enjoy theirs. And the young man on the phone taken orders was very polite.

Lovely cafe on Earlsdon street- the choice is amazing - staff so charismatic and welcoming it was a lovely vibe. I got the special - steak ciabatta and it was so succulent and tasty - the best I’ve had from a coffee shop before! My partner also loved the soup- we will definitely be eating here again :)

The food is very good at Sage, but I was treated terribly by the owner recently -- despite being a regular customer.

I usually go to Sage about 2 or 3 times a week for breakfast and/or lunch, during the week and at weekends. On my last visit, however, the owner came up to me after I'd finished eating and claimed that she'd had to turn people away, which for some reason, she suggested, was my fault. I had not long finished my breakfast when she asked me to leave.

I was gobsmacked! And I'm still not really sure why I was kicked out. She said something to the effect of 'you've had long enough' and asked me to move to another table (or leave), but as I was at a 2-seater already, I didn't really understand the point. Plus, I'm a paying customer and not doing Sage a favour?

The situation was bizarre. I am absolutely flabbergasted by her attitude, which left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Judging by other reviews, this customer service approach seems to be a policy. My advice to other customers: avoid going, but, if you insist on going, be quick -- or else!

Had really amazing food here. Very good service from Hamzii. I ordered the loaded lamb keema fries. We’re just too good. Fish pakoras and the mixed grill is recommended too.

Lovely staff, very friendly, want to try the breakfast but was late today so had a deli bagel & hot choc, missus had a mint tea (was fresh leaves! Which was nice) nice atmosphere in the place, comfortable seating.

Ooonly gripe would be the portion of meat within the bagel, but the presentation and taste of everything was great. Recommended local gem

Ribs were delicious, the meat fell off the bone, the crispy beef was the best I've tried in a long time and the chicken in the curry was perfect.
Shame they don't offer delivery as I'm reliant on delivery services but will be keen to collect this again in the future 😀

What a lovely Indian restaurant the food was superb and delicious, we sat and got waited on and the staff were kind, friendly and professional. They also have a buffet every Monday, we will definitely go back and recommend to friends and family definitely.

Not expecting too much coming from Leed where we have great Indian restaurants & food.
Bengal brasserie was a welcome change.
The Service & food was excellent.
Prices are very reasonable with a nice relaxing atmosphere.

We booked a table using a groupon voucher. When the menu was presented to us we thought it looked expensive for an Indian restaurant, but none the less we ordered from it as we had prepaid for the voucher.

When we got home we checked the menu on their website and it was much cheaper than the menu they gave us in the restaurant.

The price would have been about the same if we had been given their standard menu compared to the groupon voucher and the menu with inflated prices

I feel very disappointed with the restaurant as they were not honest about their pricing.

The food was ok, but the experience was ruined by the pricing issue.

Ordered online for collection, was ready promptly, collected, got it home started to eat and my partner found a dead fly in one of the dishes. The sort of thing that then puts you off eating. As we had spent £35 I called Allesley House to let them know. The initial response of the man on the phone was 'I doubt it was a fly, the weather isn't hot enough' then he said he would give us a refund if we could go and collect the cash back. Agreed to this, partner went back and he asked what dish it was in. Partner told him garlic and chilli chicken, he said 'not likely to be a fly'. Partner then showed him the picture to which he went 'oh yeah, that is a fly'. Told us all he could refund us for is the one dish (knowing we'd been put off our entire meal, as anyone would). He handed my partner £10. Not what we agreed to on the phone. Not happy with the service and absolute waste of food!

My favourite cafe in Earlsdon. Amazing for breakfast, amazing for all food. Great drinks and all at great prices. The staff are so lovely, and welcoming. Such a calm and lovely environment.

Very nice, clean and cozy place. Been for the Monday buffet and did not disappointed. Food is really tasty and hot. Indians flavours spot on you can really enjoy the food. Attentive staff. Me and my husband had a great dinner thank you.

It's OK standard restaurant no wow factor. Bathroom needs attention. Food could do with less colouring. The menu needs to be on the website as it differs from the in restaurants menu. Service was good.

Six of us ate here late on Saturday night, everything was top notch, the food, the portion size, the service and the attentiveness. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a fantastic curry, look no further!

An excellent welcome and experience awaits you at the Bengal Brasserie.
The manager gives a warm welcome, Explains the menu and takes you to your table. Service throughout was excellent, attentive but not in a bad way. And the food was excellent also.
I would recommend this place to all, a great experience from an excellent host and his team.

I booked the Monday buffet for 4 people plus our two babies in pushchairs for my birthday.

We decided to book here as we have had take out a few times and are always happy with the food. When I have been in to collect their phones are always ringing with people making orders so this is a good sign!

We had a wonderful time. The staff were so accommodating, and the curry was delicious. The buffet really is great value for money. Each dish was lovely - and it was great to try some new things. Good selection of sides as well as curry. The bhajis and tandoori chicken are amazing.

The drinks were good value for money - the wine didn’t have sizes but was £5.95 for a glass and it was a large one!

The waiters were lovely and attentive. There was a nice attention to detail and after we had finished the curry we got hot wipes and after eights. As it was my birthday I was even given a free shot of baileys (it’s officially autumn) and they turned the lights out so I could have my birthday cake come out with the candles lit. The staff went above and beyond and really made me feel special on my birthday.

I do think a little extra service and attention to detail goes such a long way and keeps customers coming back.

I have awarded four stars as I think it’s a fair representation. If I were to give any feedback I would say that more high chairs are needed. There were quite a few younger children but only one high chair to share between us. I think from seeing that there were so many younger children a baby changing would be useful although I do understand it’s not always possible.
The decor is a little tired but overall the place was clean and tidy.
It was a little cramped where we were sat but again the staff were so polite and worked around us - even though I know we took up a lot of space.

I would absolutely visit again - for the buffet and perhaps at the weekend without the babies!

Highly recommend this Turkish restaurant! The food was outstanding, and the prices were reasonable. The combination of flavors in their dishes was incredible. The manager was attentive, friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu!

I come here for lunch a few times a month, The food is well portioned for the price and very tasty. Salads are made fresh each day and always friendly service from both gentlemen working, kardeş!

During the nicer weather, there are almost always people queueing but that's always a good sign to me!

It is absolutely brilliant. The BEST kebab restaurant I have tried. Recommend to everyone. The food portion is huge and the taste is excellent as it is freshly off the grill. The owner is so friendly!

I tried Miss China during lockdown, after frequenting all the other Chinese takeaways locally. This is by far the best quality I’ve had from anywhere. Very big portions and the boxes are always crammed full. The best thing is that it’s always full of super fresh vegetables and very nicely cooked. The quality is always consistent and I’ve never once had a bad meal in the last few years. It made me realise that other places just serve reheated food with shrivelled veg. The salt and pepper chicken is my fav and there’s so much chicken. I won’t go anywhere else now after trying here.

Don’t worry about 2Pac on the phone, if anything, it’s amusing. The food is too good to let that put you off and “Life Goes On”.

Viewed the menu, lots of choice, called and placed order. It was Friday evening and never expected there to be so many people waiting. Bit of a chat with locals then called. Beef chow main, chicken, rice and sweet and sour dish.
We had a chat with my partner and both enjoyed the meal. There good helpings, no bad taste and empty plate. My first time there and would surely return again. Been again, crispy duck with plum sauce, beef with fresh ginger, onion, crispy duck chow mein.
