I have ordered many times lamb biryani from punjabi dera it was very good but this time was not so good too much of curry sauce in lamb biryani i have ordered spicy but its very very spicy i have throwed in bin because of too much spicy and too much curry sauce in biryani 10pounds not worth at all
We had ordered 2 chicken shawarma with chips from this shop. The food was not that good. Salad was not nice & it taste rubbish. We are having problems with our stomach now.
I felt like this place wasn't trying at all. Eating here is like playing Russian Roulette, only you have a 5 out of 6 chance of getting food poisoning and horrendous stomach problems later! This place is very dumpy and in a serious need of a makeover. Even Chef Ramsey would be disgusted by this sorry attempt at a basic shawarma and fatayer, wish I could put a sign out front that said "RUN AWAY OR GET A CHANCE OF FREE FOOD POISONING!" 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Absolutely love the food here. I am from Amritsar and this place has food just like home. Love the punjabi chana and Palak. Highly recommended if you are looking for proper authentic punjabi food. I must have ordered more than 30 times from here, it’s the best.
About Last two months we are buying chapatis and some time others things from kababish and very hard to eat i told them to make nicely on the proper way but they don't even bother, today the same thing happened and I decided I'm not going back there again it's totally waste money and health

Leon used to be my go-to food on the go, but this is the fourth restaurant in as many weeks where the standards are awful.
It’s quiet, no queue, one other diner, and yet the tables are filthy and the food was cold. Service was warm & friendly, but I came for the food. Not sure I’ll come again.

Everytime I have been to Manchester, we have stopped here to have food.
No dine-in facility available unfortunately. However, food is economical and delicious. Quick service. It's very close to Eccles mosque as well.

Very nice and clean place to eat in or take out. I was in a rush to open my fast so I ended up taking the food home which is a half hour drive so the food will probably be a 5 star if ate in the take away.
Price wise it's fair as normal take away prices.
I bought the mixed grill for 2 and also got pizza an chips for the kids.

I love Leon and I go there all the time, normally it’s really good and it’s my top choice. I want to comment because I feel like I’m being scammed. Yesterday, I went to Leon and ordered a meal with the service lady. She overcharged me. Normally, my meal deal is around £10-£11, and I usually use your self-checkout machine. But yesterday, I wanted to use cash, so I went to the till. I asked her if it was more expensive than usual, and it turned out she charged me for every single item instead of a meal. She said she couldn't change it because she already put the order into the system. I ended up being charged £3-£4 more. It's frustrating, and though I wanted to complain, there were other people waiting in the queue, so I decided against it. But the more I think about it, the more frustrated I get. I can't help but feel like it's a scam.
Tried Lamb Curry here for the first time, came back next day to get some more to let my mum have a taste. Honestly the place could do with a bit of investment to tidy it up, but the lamb curry was just superb. Enough to justify the premium price! The old fella there asked mt my name so he could remember me in the future. Now i live in Bury and this place in in Levenshulme/Longsite area so a bit of a trek but deffo worth it.
These guys are so down to earth and their customer service is brilliant, they have quality in their food please to support them and spread their name even more

Best Chinese food in I’ve had in Manchester! Especially the gyozas! Very friendly staff also, I asked if they could season my wok for me and they were super friendly and accommodating.

Bit into my chicken burger only for it to be pink, cold and slimy in texture, I strongly believe it was raw. Couldn’t stay to complain as had immediate train to catch. Cost me near £10.
Never fails to impress, NYK has the best wings about delicious, crispy and tasty. Had my food delivered very efficiently. The guy on the phone was great help as my daughter has allergies. Overall, the food came piping hot. I would really recommend the spicy burger meal as well as the exceptional fire wings. Will be ordering very soon again on our takeaway night!!! CHEERS GUYS ‼️
I was expecting that sometimes people may honour their name. As kebabish focuses more on kebabs but they boast of curries as well. I ordered nihari and haleem. OMG. i never had such kiddish food experience. By churning mixtures of lentils they call it haleem. Me and my friend resolved never to visit it again.
I had the the best lamb madras’s I’ve had in a long while the food is very authentic and tasty it’s the my go to place when I want. Curry now and the peri peri is really nice too the food is very fresh

Trying out the Bhaji Wrap - one of the new veganuary dishes. Still to perfect a way of eating a wrap in a dignified manner and not dropping any of it. It’s a great addition to the Leon menu and at 458 kcal - what have you got to lose?
Food was nice. Their chicken calzone was really good. The fries were decent too. However the fatayer was a bit heavy on the heart.
Ordered 1 lamb chops, tawa 1 made for 3 people. Between the 4 of us, we were stuffed. Lamb chops were phenomenonal, the rice lamb karahi were both delicious. Highly would Very friendly staff. They even got us kashmir tea from near by.. Very much recommend

Great place. Very fresh and delicious food. My husband and I went just out of curiosity into this restaurant while taking walk in that area. Staffs are really warm and fairly fast service.
So annoyed with the wedges. They arrived squashed, cold and as if they’ve been refried. Couldn’t eat any of it, especially the black chips. Really annoyed. Apparently their ordering system didn’t print out the ticket and I received the food two hours after ordering.

On Friday 12 at around 8.30 a friend who came to visit asked me if I new any good food takeaways. I said Happy Days. However, I ordered garlic bread garlic mushrooms and my friend just fancied a kids meal as she already ate before. The order came 21.35 and my friends kebab was missing with her drink. I telephoned and the guy said we are busy can I give it you another time. I explained my friend hasn't had her food who paid for the food. Then a knock on the door with just the drink. After phoning them they said her kebab is on its way. Eventually my friends kebab came at 22.21. I'm sorry but this is not good service. I'm embarrassed as I said you were great. My friend agrees that the food is 4 stars but improvement is needed badly on the service. We both agree we will try again a later date. Please use the construction critism for the future. Thank You

Usually ok, the other day I ordered 2 orders one to eat in and one to takeout, he was going on with himself about he doesn't have change so he couldn't take 20 note. I get the food to takeout before the one to eat in. It took way longer than normal to get my food. Service that day was downhill but the spicy burger was spot on.
Ordered the peanut satay chicken & rice box w/ double chicken. This the type of food to heal your soul. I’ve never had such a gorgeous peanut satay in my life. Immaculate taste and texture. The food was so good I decided to take the time to sign in and actually make review, which I never do. 10/10, major props to the chefs.
A lovely experience at Subway in the bustling Arndale Food Court. The service was exceptional. The staff were professional and understood my requests. They made the sub very quickly and accurately and the quality was super. Perfect for a quick bite to eat and meal deal options are also available here. There is a good variety of breads, salads, sauces, and meats as well as vegetarian and vegan options too.
Asked a simple question can I change my boiled rice for egg fried rice and I'll pay extra got an attitude NO then got back home and my salt and pepper chips were half the size never have my custom again poor

The portions have gone really small and more expensive. Ordered a large chicken kebab about 6 pieces of chicken no salad.
5 stars for serving healthy and sustainable food. Enjoyed breakfast while waiting for our train. Glad to see clean ingredients in their sourdough muffin sandwiches and porridge. Food nowadays is full of additives and ultra processed. I am glad LEON is moving away from that to create a healthier food environment.

I was feeling peckish and saw the restaurant. What an inspired choice! The Shawarma chicken tasty kebab meat and the chips, golden fries perfectly done! Delicious and big choice salad. It was piled into my tray and choice of sauces, so fresh!

Food is unreal, the best chinese we’ve had whilst in Manchester, and for amazing prices too. Staff are great and the waiting area is nice and cozy as well. We probably eat here a couple times a week
Had to go outside and collect it rather than the driver bring it. Well over an hour to bring as well. Home delivery my a$$. The chips weren't even cooked that well and the milkshake was small af. Never again.

The food was piping hot and fresh, service was a little slow and there was a build up of customers. The sauces brought the shawarma together otherwise, the chicken is a tad bland. The peri peri salt on the chips was a lovely touch. Would I go again? Yes, for a quick meal on the go.
Horrible customer service experience today. I love Subway, have been a customer for years but I have never been at this particular shop before. This was the first time, I thought Subway is Subway wherever I go right? So I give this one a try. The staff is polish there, surely that's not a problem I myself have Eastern European heritage, my parents are from Hungary. However the staff here, especially the idiot "manager" whoever he is are very very rude! He spoke to me like I was a homeless person, and I was dressed up professionally in a suit and tie. My friend and I were horribly treated the staff especially that fruitcake manager are very rude. Those people are "cheap". And I do not mean that the food is cheap. It is not! The staff are cheap there! And cheap here is used in a negative term. Honestly I would avoid that particular subway. Go somewhere better where people are more sophisticated and intelligent. Those people still live in the communist era and it is shown in the way they treat their customers. I would give it a red star rating with a sickle if I could.... :P

Amazing atmosphere and staff with incredible food. One of my favourites is the spicy chicken burger meal. Definitely recommend trying it as the experience wont be regretful at all. No complaints at all

I had pre ordered on the app to collect, the order wasn't made till after i arrived. The hash browns were burnt and one of the staff members seemed to have an attitude. I queried about the sauce that came with the order and had a receipt shoved in my face and pointed at. In that moment I felt like a little child being spoke to, I definitely won't be returning....
We had a quick bite with wife and brother in law and not bad at all. The chicken kebab and rice was fresh and tasty the grilled sea bass fish not so great as seemed a little undercooked. The seating area was clean and functional with the extra naan served quickly. The pricing was on the high side and they dont serve diet coke but still worth a visit to the curry mile!
I ordered the lentil masala which was delivered promptly (within 5 mins). The meal itself tasted quite nice although I didn't like the pieces of kale in between. However after the meal I had some discomfort and this was the only meal I had which was different to what I normally have... The meal itself was served hot and was cooked well. The price was £5.99 and had enough food.

Came here for the ice creams and they are amazing! The lady that served us was super nice! I was so impressed that the portion of icecream was really big! Definitely coming back next time I’m in Manchester

Claim to be a Chinese but don’t sell any Chinese food. Ordered a cheese burger instead and got given a yellow burger with cucumber and ketchup on it
I think the foods are not fresh all the time, some deserts are really few days old, I can give star on the kheer deserts which they make good. Inside you can eat if you want but the atmosphere is not great. They give good customer service though. Never rude or bad response, I want them to improve more and serve fresh food.
Ordered from Ubereats today, and the food was nice. Chicken rice was hot and flavorful, and chicken nuggets were crispy and juicy. We liked the salad as well.
I regularly order from this place however I've noticed that the service seems to decrease in quality. At first I was given the wrong sauce, no big deal. I just called the next time and was given an attitude. I ordered some wings only to find a small blood clot, I started to check the other wings only to realise that they were undercooked.
Terrible attitude of the driver expecting me to come out and down to collect and pizza box bent and may as well bean plain I oderd 3 toppings looks like just sweet corn no chicken or beef

Jumped in for a quick bite. Place was busy which was a good sign. Clean and courteous staff. Food was made fresh and ready for take out. Was great and will be eating again while on my trip to Manchester.
The food was absolutely delicious and so was the service. Me and my entire family loved the food. I definitely recommend New City Lahori to everyone!

Really, really bad. Ordered and they were doing buy 1 get 1 free on the cookie doughs. They arrived, royaly burnt to a crisp on the bottom. Theres no way the restaurant missed it as you could smell the burnt. Then to add more insult to injury, we ordered a "more to share bag" of maltesers for £2.50, and a £1 pack arrived therefore, been ripped off for £1.50 too. I called them to sort and got told to ask the delivery service for a full refund. There was no option of correcting the order. I suggested checking all doughs going forward and they said, yeh its hard cooking them. So seemingly the know full well they're burning them. Milkshake was nice though.
Subway Turkey Sub with all the salad bits on 9 grain wheat bread! been wanting to have a proper subway sandwich Not going to lie I was very tempted to get a salad as that's what I used to have but I knew deep down that wouldn't be what I really wanted and wouldn't be enough...!it was a big deal for many reasons and my head is now screaming I just felt like way too much and my head was telling me there was way more than my usual lunch options but realistically I know it isn't and I needed this! I really am trying to push myself & and I'm determined not to restrict my other meals to compensate as I know that defeats the object i'm not engage in other behaviours. it was super tasty though and even better then I remember subway sandwiches to taste! I know this man is artificial but I just love that sweet bread percent and this really didn't disappoint! The bread was so soft and doughy and Turkey has to be one of my favourite fillings The next time I would try to fish myself do you have a sauce or something on it to make it even nice! But baby steps once again I did this completely off my own back and asked for myself my parents really aren't being that supportive and I had to have this by myself when I got home and I just felt even more guilty for doing it but I know what I need to do and this is my recovery. Blown away by the quality of the food served. Both chicken and falafel shwarma were incredible. Naan breads are made freshly by hand while you order. Has become my favourite shwarma place in Manchester.
Used to be okay service, ordered many times. The service I have just received was disgusting. Didn’t read my address properly, didn’t ring me, then half an hour after my order was supposed to come I get a call saying that the driver ‘tried to deliver’ and drove back, then was told they would ‘put my food in the microwave’ and charge me another £3 for delivery. I will never order from here again and will make sure I tell my friends and family about the terrible service. No consideration for the customer
Food quality is really, fish 🐟 5*, AL Faham chicken 5*, Qabli Pilau 4.2*. Staff's really friendly, less cluttered compare to other places on Wimslow Road.

Definitely does not deserve one star even. Ordered a chocoholic waffle. Had absolutely no chocolate sauce on it. Called the restaurant, and spoke to the girl who made it. She was so rude, and kept on insisting that she had put on the sauce. If you mess up an order, then own the mistake as well.

Very nice staff and the food is absolutely delicious!! I tried today a new indian dish with potatoes and onion and absolutely loved it. My husband is already their fan. Their food is very balaced in spices, not greasy and freshly made from what we've seen. Good job!!!
I ordered a chicken fatayer, vegetarian pizza and a portion of chips. The fatayer was decent, well-cooked and delicious. I was only able to get one bite of pizza but even my notoriously-difficult-to-please, super-fussy person loved it saying that we would definitely buy from there again. A special mention about the chilli sauce dips - very nice and definitely worth the extra few quid. We ordered online so cannot comment on the customer service, although the food arrived in a timely manner. Very highly recommended and I would definitely order again.
So I was actually surprised at the chips more than anything. Actual real chips or at least better than the standard thin fries you get everywhere else. Peri burger was average bit dry if I'm honest but definitely a lot worse places to go out there. The mint sauce was very tasty too fresh. I'd probably say if they sort out the dry chicken then a solid 4 n half.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. We bought milkshakes today, which is a really hot day. The chocolates were melting in the shop and too soft to be used in a milkshake. I brought it to the attention of the lady making the milkshakes. she abruptly said "Wait a minute" and continued making it with adding more milk and cream. What I was left with was a combination of milk and cream with lumps of chocolate at the bottom. Before leaving, I did assert my dissatisfaction with what I thought the milkshake would turn out to be (and I was right when I tried it later) and the lady just insisted that 'nobody else had complained, so I had no reason to'. Furthermore, the slush had a strange plant aftertaste and the ice-cream tasted off. If the products were not fit for purpose, then she should not have sold them, especially when a customer is alerting them to the issue. The customer service is poor, the lady was obnoxious and rude! Rocco's Deserts need to know that the customers are always right.
I think this place used to be something else and was a bit run down. It's now much cleaner and brighter but also a little bit more expensive. I have chicken sweetcorn soup for starters which was light and tasty not too gloopy which some places can be. Then had the salt and pepper chicken balls for main. It wasn't the cheapest nor the tastiest but it was fairly decent . I would return to try more as I have not found their best fish yet.
Went for iftar Dinner . It was good but salad n fruits n starter finish bit early n never fills as people waste food too much

Had this a try as out with friends late and a lot of others were closed. In all honesty this was not very good. I ordered the chicken seekh kebabs and as soon as I saw them I could tell they were not going to be nice. The meat was very very dry and not at all appetising. I have given extra though for the great service as the gentleman who served us was very nice and efficient but let down by the kitchen staff
