Extremely unprofessional. If your daughter has skills and talents outside of dance they will be punished. The director is full of double standards and makes things up as she goes. She also has terrible buisness practices. She demands everybody use autopay or a credit card and then charges a fee for each transaction. They play favorites and are very political. If your daughter has a passion for dance, this is a place where that passion will definitely die. Do not recommend at all.
I paid for summer camp the fees assigned they sent me a bill at the end with a total different amount. I reached out to them showing what I received was different from what they are charging. The said it was valid because I only paid a regristration fee when it clearly stated tuition. I sent screen shots email copies etc and they did not respond and attempted to process charges. I wrote the BbB and they won’t even respond to them.
Very personable make my daughter comfortable! She loves to dance here!
My Daughter has been dancing with Xplosive since 2015 and we absolutely love it here. The growth that I have seen not only from her but all the dancers every year is outstanding.
Great studio with amazing instructors. They teach all types of dance from Hip Hop to Ballet. My kids have been at this studio for the past 8 years.
The instructors are amazing and so incredibly talented and the kids absolutely love coming here! Mrs. Laurel does a brilliant job of teaching our little dancers. We’re so glad we found this dance studio!

Laurel is a wonderful teacher. So good with children. Her adult students love her stretch and adult ballet classes. Very patient and enjoys seeing her students reach milestones.
Amazing place! Laurel is so knowledgeable and great with kids. I have a three year old daughter just starting ballet, and she BEGS me to come to class every week. I highly recommend this studio.
The ladies at the women's bible study was very open to share their life. It was a no judgement zone atmosphere.
My daughter attends this dancee studio. It's way more than dance. They teach team work, good behavior and the atmosphere is excellent. They also have opportunities for your kids to perform in big productions - which I've not found anywhere else.
Worst experience ever. The owner is really rude. Communication is so bad. I took my son out. I respect everyones reviews but I have heard bad and similar reviews all around Vista Lakes.

My sons ages 3 and 5 years old love this place! They get to do aerial silks, gymnastics and all kinds of dancing and moving around in the Creative Movement class. Sarah Swindell and her team are so good with the kids--even training them up to be in some of the big shows that Northwest Dance Company puts on several times a year.
Sarah Swindell and her team are so gifted in getting children excited about dance--they want to follow her and do a great job for her. In just one class my son went from sulking in the corner to scooting into the circle to participate enthusiastically with a big grin on his face. It's a positive and safe environment, I would recommend to ALL parents!
Sarah and her team are wonderful! Not only do she and her dance company put on unbelievable productions, but Sarah's classes and her teaching style help even the most insecure dancer (like me) feel capable and confident! I love taking her classes. I always leave feeling encouraged, challenged, and ready for more!
