So far I love this. I took a ballet class and it was both accessible and interesting/offered challenges, technique guidance amongst good people.
Dance Institute is such a great community dance studio. There is a class here for everyone! The Nutcracker production the studio puts on in December each year is such a great, affordable, family friendly event!
Loved my first hip hop class today! Marguarite was so friendly and a wonderful teacher. The studio was cute and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to take classes.

ONE STAR!!!!!! Terrible and extremely rude staff. I pulled up to park, pulled out my phone to pay and one of the workers from the dance studio came out to my car and starting taking photos! She said if you don’t pay I’ll give you a ticket. My phone was in my hand with the parking site up. Why come be so nasty for no reason? it was so baffling to me. very unprofessional, unnecessary and she made me extremely uncomfortable.
We had a hip hop dance party for my 7 year and his little buddies. It's hard enough getting 1 boy to listen, let alone 10! Stephanie did a fantastic job teaching the boys some choreography, keeping their attention and teaching them some hip hop/breakdance moves. I want to have my birthday party here:) Thanks Stephanie!
Our teenage son started at Colorado Ballet Academy (CBA) after experiencing a wonderful summer intensive with the school. CBA's Director, Erica Fischbach and her entire staff & faculty are amazing with the students. I would highly recommend CBA to other families looking for a high caliber ballet studio for their children in the Denver metro area.
This is the best professional adult ballet studio in the Denver-Boulder area! Kris, the owner & ballet mistress is a personal favorite of many local dancers. Be sure to arrive early because the classes are usually packed.

We’ve been at this studio for 6 months now and feel like it’s a good fit for our family. There is good instruction without any pretentiousness. Our instructor (Ms. Loray ) is kind and firm which I appreciate. We just finished the winter recital and it was so well organized, high quality and my kiddo’s confidence and excitement around dance have grown significantly since. She was so nervous to “go on stage” but once she did the dress rehearsal she didn’t want to leave the stage. I recommend this studio to anyone looking for exposure to dance with an approachable staff and parent base.
My daughter has learned so much at cherry creek dance, we have had some hiccups, but Stephanie helped us to work everything out and i really appreciate that. the older dancers have always been so amazing and supportive of my daughter at the recitals.
Amazing school. My daughter is in Pre Pro. First year. Teachers and staff truly concerned about the well being of the whole student. Very attentive to technique, bring guest teachers, attention to choreography as well as dance competitions. A true school to ore pare for the professional career in dance.
I think everybody in Denver knows that Cherry Creek Dance is great for kids and teens. It is also absolutely amazing for adults. All of my previously gained skills are coming back, we develop musicality in class, not only we learn and improve (yes, there is instruction and corrections!) technique, but also talk about different styles of ballet and modern. This is not a work out class, this is a true ballet/modern class, where you work with a ballet master and a choreographer to progress. There is surely a lot of improvements in my turn, leaps, and artistry. I gained a lot of confidence and strength through proper corrections. It is a true company class.
As a dancer who has been only going here for 2 years my experience has been a great experience all the teacher are wonderful and encouraging if you are new at dance they will walk you through everything making sure u understand it
Fantastic training institution with caring and professional educators. They offer classes for all ages, a pre-professional division, workshops and intensives. The relationships a dancer can build here and the skills they can learn will prepare them for a future in dance!

We enjoyed all the performances tonight. Our favorites were the amazing west side story choreography, the aerials, and all the student performances with impressive endings. Great job everyone!

I have been going to cherry creek dance for 13 years! This studio is my second home, I have made the best relationships with both students and teachers! A lot of these others reviews talk about the way teachers treat the students but I can 100% as a STUDENT at the studio the teachers are incredibly kind hearted i could talk to everyone single one of them about anything. It is also a dance studio the teachers aren’t there to be your child’s best friend in the whole wide world and they aren’t always gonna compliment your child. If you are sending your kid to a dance studio you have to understand that no matter the age they will get criticism and that’s just apart of being a dancer. Being a dancer is a two person job, the dancer and the teacher you can’t expect the teacher to do everything. At the end of the day you have to ask yourself do you want your child to be at a loving caring and fun dance studio? Then bring them to cherry creek dance ! :)
My daughter has been going to CCD for many years now and I am always impressed wit how they handle themselves and put the dancers first. Last weekend I got to watch my daughter dance on stage again for the first time in 2 years. Cherry Creek Dance worked tirelessly to manage all the COVID hoops including meeting the requirements of where we were dancing. My daughter has grown as a dancer and person thanks to Cherry Creek Dance. I don't know what we would have done without them over the last 2 years, Cherry Creek Dance has been my daughter's safe haven as we have managed COVID. We have felt like family since day 1.

The costumes were not as beautiful as they were at pre-Covid years. We paid $400, the most we paid for Colorado Ballet Nutcracker, but we were disappointed the most.

I am impressed with the high quality lessons that Dance 2b offers! The instructors are all incredibly talented dancers but also great communicators and they inspire us all allowing us to learn at our own pace and creating a fun environment. The studios are beautiful and the location is great!

This studio has something special about it. It is for anyone who wants to learn or continue dancing. The instructors are amazing, the space is beautiful and I have enjoyed every class I’ve taken. It truly feels like “coming home” especially as a someone who danced growing up and struggled to find a place to dance as an adult. If your new to dance, miss dancing or are preparing for a team/audition there’s space and class for you here.

I haven't taken dance classes in over a decade and I've greatly enjoyed dipping my toes into some of the beginner/intermediate classes offered here. The studio is very cute and the class size is nice considering covid! The instructors (David and Henry) are wonderful and each have their own particular style that is very fun and keeps it interesting. David in particular was very welcoming and sweet to newcomers! I wish classes were a little longer to better learn choreos (even 10 more minutes would be great! ideally 15-30) and that there was a slightly cheaper option ( it's downtown denver so understandable) but it's a nice addition to my day and I look forward to joining in on more classes.

Dancing dreams is super fun and my daughter enjoy it. The staff is professional and friendly.

Just took my first dance class with amazing Hannah and David! I was nervous going into my first class here alone, but both David & Hannah were so kind, patient, and FUN! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re thinking about trying out a class, do it!!
I've been taking ballet classes from Kris Kehl since she was a member of Colorado Ballet and taught at the old studio on Lincoln Blvd. Her exercises, especially in center, are beautifully musical. The creation of the DDC is a labor of love - she keeps it clean and well maintained. Since re-opening the studio to limited in-person classes, Kris has been diligent about following recommended guidelines to keep everyone safe.
My wife and I booked a private dance lesson with Henry for our Anniversary and we had such a good time and could not have been happier with our experience. The studio is beautiful and the Broadway style dance lesson we received was top-notch. It’s great to walk into a space and feel the air pulsing with creativity and a love of the arts. Thanks so much Dance2B for making this awesome experience happen.

Wonderful dance studio! My daughter loves it and her teachers
Used to come to the half time jazz class but the drop in rate used to be $20 and has gone up to almost $30, which is absurd. Unfortunately will have to find another studio with adult classes.
12/22/21: Well tried to give this studio another chance but at $28 a drop in(way too pricey still), I found myself frustrated with this place again. The normal instructor for the half time jazz class supposedly had a substitute for her class who never showed up. We didn’t start class until 10 min after it was supposed to start and the instructor who ended up teaching did his best to fill in, which he did lead the class well. Super unorganized and unfortunately I was given the excuse that the holidays and Covid are making things difficult but class should have just been cancelled and a refund or a makeup class should have been offered. None were offered after my email either.

Miss Michelle and her staff are so dedicated to the students. Kids get can’t help but get caught up in the positivity of the studio. Excellent experience year after year.
BEWARE of this horrible place for any little girl. Especially newcomers. My girl went there for a dance class on Saturday and the teacher was on her phone the WHOLE TIME. We watched her looking at her phone on camera and they’d been switching back and forth the toddler girls to an older girls class changing classrooms. The older girl was apparently one of the toddler girls sister. And my girl was CONFUSED. I can tell from the look on her face she did not know what was going on and she looked very frustrated. Those teachers were heartless. This is not a fun dance class this is real life torture. We even bought dance shoes from them right before the class and after the class, the owner questioned us and acted like if we had stolen their stinking shoes!! DO NOT even think about giving this place a try. Go somewhere else. Anywhere. My daughter had been to two other schools after this and we are sooo happy about making the change.
We love PHDA! Our daughter discovered it after meeting friends who go there. She made the switch from a large studio to this smaller, more intimate studio. The teachers are amazing and produce fantastic dancers.
Denver Dance is a cozy little studio in Denver where you can learn not just dance, pole, and aerials, but also, unique apparatuses, like swing pole, aerial loops, and chains (sounds crazy, but is wicked cool!). The owner, Marguerite, has fostered a lovely and supportive community!
Denver Dance is hands down the greatest dance gem in Denver. It provides intimate training experiences with some of the best aerial artists in the state. Its friendly environment, wonderful owner and unconventional location make it an amazing place to learn and its extremely talented teachers and students push you to be your best in what ever class you take. I cannot recommend it more highly and its worth checking out either as a one-off or hopefully as your next dance home!
Best aerial/pole studio in the city! I’ve been going to Denver Dance for 3 years, having started there as a newbie. Marguerite has created an incredibly supportive community, she is an amazing teacher who challenges you in all the right ways. Take any class from her and you will thank yourself. The other instructors are also wonderful and highly skilled in their apparatuses and styles of dance. I was never a dancer before I found this home away from home and now I’ve done 3 performances, have way more self confidence, and have made so many great friends through this studio!

Dance teachers are nice but will push you to better.
My daughter has been dancing at DcD for over 6 years now, and she loves it today, just as much as when she started when she was 4 years old. This is in large part due to Miss Jennifer. She is such a caring, dedicated teacher. Just as important as teaching the kids proper technique and form, she takes great pride in making sure that everyone is having a positive fun experience. Miss Jennifer has instilled a passion for ballet and dance in my daughter that will last a lifetime.
My daughter has been at DcD for several years. She has developed strong bonds and trusted friendships with many of the girls in her classes, which is so important given how much time they spend together at the studio. I believe the reason for this is because the owner and teachers at DcD expect dancers to be supportive and encouraging of one another. It’s a safe, fun, yet rigorous training environment that we feel has made a huge difference in our daughter’s life over the years.
Regarding the training, the greatest strengths of DcD is that they support the girls’ dance development at whatever level, from the lead company girls with difficult technical ballet choreography, to the wee ones just learning how to smile on stage. The performances are of high quality, always classy yet entertaining. If you are in the market, I highly recommend checking it out.

Both of my daughters have taken dance lessons at the Dance Conservatory of Denver (DCD) and had a wonderful experience. The younger classes are perfectly age appropriate with the right mix of fun and instruction. The older classes include reasonable corrections to help with form and execution. The studio culture is lovely - very supportive and encouraging, with a great parent community. We're so grateful to have found such a fantastic studio!
My daughter has been attending DCD since she was four, and she wouldn't want to dance anywhere else! The instruction is excellent, and the teachers are encouraging. The caring environment that DCD fosters has helped my daughter form valuable friendships. She will dearly miss this school and its dancers once she graduates.
My daughter loves DCD! After dancing at another studio, we moved here for the outstanding ballet instruction and friendly, non competitive environment. She spends a lot of time dancing and I couldn’t have asked for a better second home for her. Her teachers, Ms Jennifer and Ms Cori, are not only professional, but their genuine interest, warmth and support bring out the absolute best in every dancer. I can see the joy and growth in my daughter’s dancing/performances and above all she is happy and having fun!! Highly recommend!!
My twin girls have been going to DCD since 2015 for pre-ballet. They are now in 2nd grade and have also participated in 2 Nutcrackers and 1 spring performance. They LOVE it. Especially they enjoy the performing. I am a former dancer (15 yrs of training) so I was a little picky about where I wanted to send my daughters. The atmosphere at DCD is wonderful: uplifting, empowering, fun, and non competitive. My daughters can struggle with not listening or following along; their teacher will help redirect them but she never forces them. This style works with my girls, and they still remember choreography from last spring! It is amazing! The studio also has older dancers mentor/assist with younger (especially with performances) and they take this seriously and see it as a privilege. I have been so impressed with the older dancer’s attitude toward that. As a result it is just a great community to be a part of, teaching my daughters more than just dance. We love Miss Jennifer!
My daughter has been dancing with DCD for 6 years since she was 3. She absolutely loves the studio, teachers and her friends there. I would say that one of the features of DCD that makes it so special, is the interaction between older dancers and the younger ones through the Nutcracker and Triple Bill performances. As she has gradually progressed through the levels, dancers take on age appropriate additional responsibility and learn to become mentors. Additionally, they look forward to taking on new roles, understanding that everyone plays an important part in making the shows a success, and helping younger dancers to learn their choreography. It is a collaborative, supportive environment where developing positive self-esteem is a priority for the teachers. While my daughter is passionate about ballet, I know that she will take away so many important skills from DCD. We feel so fortunate to have our daughter be part of this community and company.
I have 3 dancers ranging from 5-16yrs old at DCD. At every level, from Pre-Ballet to Advanced, they have the most supportive and caring environment along with excellent instruction and high quality training. Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Cori are remarkable how they inspire dancers through their genuine love and passion for what they do. It says something when my girls look forward to going and then leave class smiling! The Nutcracker and Triple Bill performances showcase all their true enjoyment, hard work and dedication.
My daughter has been at PHDA for over four years and we can’t say enough wonderful things about the program. Karlyn is extremely professional and caring and an amazing teacher. My daughter has made many dear friends.
My daughter started in the Leaping Lizards class with Lorenzo. The class is very fun and engaging and Lorenzo's classes are well thought out. She has enjoyed them so much that she is now enrolled in preballet with Maddie. Park Hill Dance's teachers are all very positive and even at three I can see the confidence that has developed in my daughter when she dances.
We had a horrifying experience yesterday and don't plan on returning anytime soon. Where to even begin?! We were trying out the leaping lizards 2 class at 10am - the toddler class ran late by at least 20 minutes. The music was blaring and too loud for my *adult* ears, and the instructor (Lorenzo) was yelling directions over the music. To a class of 1 year olds. And then he got frustrated when these tiny toddlers didn't follow his exact directions. I couldn't believe how loud it was. E. (almost 3 and quite shy) was very intimidated by all the commotion, and told me several times that she didn't want to do the class, she just wanted to watch.
When the class finally started, I went onto the mat with her and we sat down with the other children (5 kids total). When the class started stretching, Lorenzo demanded a couple of times that we participate, but E didn't want to. She didn't feel comfortable or at ease, and neither did I. The music was turned way up loud again - I can't overstate this. The speaker was huge, like 4 feet tall. My ears were actually hurting. I leaned over and told E. that we would leave after 5 more minutes of watching. But the real kicker was when the instructor came over and said to us "you need to either participate or leave." Wow!!! We high tailed it out of there and hope to never go back.

My daughter goes here for ballet classes and I have picked up adult classes too. Such a friendly yet disciplined ballet academy. Instructors are nice and helpful. Love their productions! I see my daughter attending this for many many years!

Sorry but if the venue cant sell tickets appropriately for ages so people can enjoy the show. Then I simply wont return.
If you cater to children please schedule accordingly to time slots so that people that want to actually enjoy the show can enjoy the show I have children myself but my children can handle a public event without causing a disruption to the public.
There were children kicking the seat backs babies crying, and children that couldnt sit still.

I am a college student so I have limited funds to come here all the time, but I love when I can. Jill has such an incredible knowledge of the body. She will say one word and fix ten problems. The environment of this studio is very welcoming.

I absolutely love Denver Dance. It’s a very small, cozy studio (two apparatuses in a class) and everyone I’ve met there is very friendly. Marguerite teaches swinging pole on Thursday nights - it’s the only place in Denver that offers it. Additionally, individual drop-ins are $20 and get cheaper as you buy packages. Since the classes are 1.5 hours, you can’t find anything cheaper.

Just so bummed that we weren't able to get in when we arrived 12 minutes late to the Nutcracker. We left home in plenty of time, but due to 4 accidents that showed up on our GPS, sitting in traffic 45 minutes to go 6 miles, then waiting and waiting to get into the parking garage, then waiting in line to pay for parking, then walking the 3 blocks, we arrived late. Our seats were at the top, free-standing seats in the Loge, so there wouldn't have been any problem to let us in except the usher would not let us in. When we were seated at the halfway point intermission, she stated she allowed "about 15 people" who were late comers before us to go in and view the ballet from our seats. Those were OUR SEATS!! While waiting the agonizing 30 plus minutes from the lobby, you could see the TV monitor by the bar, but the quality was terrible and you could only hear the orchestra if you stood against the wall, far from the one TV. I was beside myself with anger and disappointment that we could not just slip in and sit in our seats. There were at least 60 people who were late walking in with us, and those we hung out with in the lobby all stated how early they left and how accidents impeded them getting to the ballet on time. What we did see was great, and I still am so very disappointed that our night ended up the way it did because of an inconsiderate usher and some car crashes.

Great ballet company in Colorado. As someone who loves ballet but has only seen the Nutcracker several times, I was happy to learn upon moving to Denver that they have a ballet company which every year comes out with a full season comprised of classics as well as new works.
I first saw the company perform at the Arvada Center for their "Evening Under the Stars" in which they danced selections from past seasons as well as some teasers from the current season. I finally got the chance to see a full performance when I went to see Alice in Wonderland at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Amazing show, funny and entertaining while also displaying the amazing talent and athleticism of the dancers. The sets were very creative and the orchestra was great too. It was great show for both adults and kids and I am not surprised to learn the performances were sold out. Now I can't wait to catch Swan Lake for next season!

Our daughter has been under the amazing instruction of Karlyn for over a year now. The discipline and skills she has gained in her time at Park Hill Dance academy are tremendous! The weekly practices always lead to a wonderful dance recital that our daughter is proud to perform in with confidence. We are grateful for such a wonderful dance studio near our neighborhood!
One of the best studios in Denver for adults to take class with other adults. Its so hard to find, and Denver Dance Center offers some of the best! The studio space is great, always clean, and the environment is very welcoming. After taking class there once, you'll feel like you're apart of the DDC Family. Highly recommended :)
Best dance school around! Michelle is a patient and knowledgeable instructor. All kids are welcomed and treated well! Boys, girls, those with challenges and disabilities, tall, short, thick or thin, lots of experience or little, everyone is accepted, everyone performs if they wish and the community of parents can't be beat!
My child is in her 6th year here and she can't imagine NOT dancing here. She has often brought friends for a free trial class when we have sleepovers.

After hearing about this dance class from a friend, I showed up one day to see if my daughter would like it. Ann, the teacher, was just wonderful. The class was full and there was a waiting list, but she graciously accepted my daughter for that lesson and put us on the wait list. My daughter had so much fun and we were able to get into the class full-time. Great customer service!
There is an amazing group of people who manage this studio - I would recommend anyone to work with these folks! Stephanie is such a go-getter and makes things happen not only for the studio but for the kids, as well. I'm so grateful to have had the chance to work with Stephanie and get involved with Cherry Creek Dance. Extremely impressed with their professionalism, ability to have fun, and commitment to the kids and the arts.
I cannot wait for this to be open because I know Megan is a great dance instructor!
I love marguerite's classes, she is hugely talented and is a lovely human being. The guest teachers she works with are also phenomenal people and have a diverse knowledge base. The classes are very welcoming for new people and accomplish creating a dance community. I've grown a lot at Denver dance in an encouraging and challenging environment. Highly recommended :)
Karlyn and her team do a wonderful job teaching my daughter and the entire pre-ballet class. The dancers are excited to participate, eager to learn, and so very excited to celebrate each end of practice with "ballet words" and a sticker. This is our very first semester having our 4 year old take class and we are very pleased.
Our daughter asked to take ballet and she loves going every Saturday. When we asked her if she wanted to perform in the "Nutcracker" performance, she responded with, "Of course! We have been practicing all the moves to get ready." Our family loves Park Hill Dance Academy! The owner and instructors at the studio are so dedicated, professional, talented, and caring. Our daughter adores going to her classes and her dance ability continues to get better and better each month under the guidance of the teachers. We have seen remarkable progress in the 5 years our daughter has been at PHDA. The instructors not only pay attention to aesthetics, but ensure a strong focus on technique and quality.
Dance2b has so many amazing qualities! Everything from the studio atmosphere to the owner to the instructors! Jenn, the owner is constantly joining in on classes which is so important because she doesn't just own it she's involved! Allie, Pi, Laura, and Aly are so amazingly wonderful when instructing and are dedicated in helping all levels of dancers from beginner to advanced! Laura does Torch Pilates, Allie & Aly do Jazz and Pi does Ballet and Hip Hop! Such amazing classes and as an adult it's so hard to find an adult studio with amazing spirit and choreography! Amazing classes, intimate setting. Denver Dance is wonderful! I used to dance some in college and was out of it for some time. So I bought the 8-pack which was well worth the money. Marguerite has created an atmosphere of community, learning and great workouts! I would recommend Denver Dance to anyone from the beginner to advanced level.
