The kids Christmas party was outstanding with stunning decorations, captivating dance performances, and engaging activities like face painting, tug-of-war, and hopping races. The host, Yuriy, was incredibly welcoming, gentle, and gracious, adding a personal touch to the celebration. Santa and the Grinch’s entry delighted everyone, especially the kids, making it a truly memorable and joyful experience!

Mina was the best teacher! We purchased the 10-class wedding package, and she choreographed and taught us (one complete beginner and one semi-experienced dancer) our wedding dance. She perfectly blended ballroom with a touch of modern pop, exactly what we were hoping for. Mina was not only clear and patient in her instruction, but she also anticipated all the details we wouldn't have thought of—like how the dress would affect our movement and where our audience would be positioned. She was flexible with scheduling, and each class was perfectly paced, allowing us time to practice between lessons and even make final improvements towards
the end of the 10 sessions. We’re so grateful she helped us add that extra sparkle to our wedding. Thank you, Mina!

We bought a waltz package with Mina to prepare for our wedding dance. Mina was so professional and kind and she was also so flexible to meet us where we were. We were ambitious and had a lot of our own ideas for the dance and she would always be open to listening and giving feedback to help us realize our vision in a collaborative way. We appreciated all of her support and feedback for us. I had a great time preparing for our first dance and it was in large part thanks for Mina!

RuDanceNy is an amazing school with great atmosphere. All the teachers are extremely caring and wants you to succeed. Paul and Lulu were extremely sweet and attentive. This school teaches both adults and students extremely well and have seen extremely high level dancers come out of this school. Would highly recommend joining a class here! 💃🕺

Queens Ballroom Dance was very easy to work with and Vilhelmina was an amazing instructor! She really took into consideration me and my husband's baseline dance skills (which were minimal) and she choreographed such a beautiful wedding dance using the song we picked! We had so much fun working with her before the wedding and we had so much fun dancing at our wedding!

Vilhelmina Lavrov was the BEST instructor we could have asked for when it came to putting together (and eventually mastering) our first dance! As Queens locals, we were thrilled to hear that Queens Ballroom Dance was a short drive to us and offered the kind of dance prep we were looking for ahead of our big day. We went in expecting to just learn a few moves so we'd be comfortable on the dance floor but Mina choreographed a simple but extremely elegant dance for us to our chosen song of "Beyond" by Leon Bridges over the course of five lessons. We are beginner dancers but her teaching style was so easy to follow and encouraging -- she made us feel like we were pros! She made sure that we were comfortable with every dance move along the way and always gave us such helpful feedback that made us feel confident with what we were learning. After each 45 minute session, we couldn't wait to practice our moves and learn what was next -- we were so excited to go back for more. Following our fifth session, we couldn't believe it was coming to an end but we left feeling like we could take on the world -- or at least our wedding venue's dance floor :) Everything Mina envisioned and helped us execute came together so beautifully on our wedding night -- and all of our guests were blown away by our first dance! We were smiling ear to ear the entire dance and had the best time of our lives showcasing our amazing routine as newlyweds. We wouldn't have been able to do that without Mina's extraordinary expertise and instruction! She's the best :) And we might be back for more dance lessons just for fun as a married couple!

The space is big and the teachers are patient and understanding, the kids are friendly and dancing here can be good for exercise.

Excellent school

Really patient with the children that go to classes. Really responsible for the children and always trying to give them the best experience. If you have children between ages 4-14, recommending Rudance for them.
