I was looking for adult classes so I could start up my dancing again & my friend recommended Danspirations. I joined 3 years ago & have never looked back. It’s fun, keeps me fit & I love it! Claire is just fabulous, super nice, always smiling & fun, she doesn’t put pressure on you to get it right & has the patience of a saint when it comes to demonstrating the same step over & over to us adults when we don’t get it!! It’s all about having fun & keeping fit. We even took part in tapathon & had the best time ever! The only negative thing is that the classes pass too quickly as we are having such a good time.
If you are looking for an adult tap or fitsteps class then Danspirations is definitely the place to go. Come see for yourself & you won’t regret it!

Lovely dance school and Claire Spence is an amazing talented and very experienced dance teacher. Adult tap and fit-steps class are great fun. Recommend this dance school for children and adults wanting to learn or return to dance in a fun, friendly environment.

Claire is a fantastic dance teacher and my daughter loves going to her classes. The classes are conveniently located in the City Cente and are great value for money. Highly recommended!
Great class with Emma Dongworth for commercial jazz. Structured, professional and most importantly, enjoyable!!
My daughter absolutely loves all her classes at AAPA. This is her second home as she is there nearly every day. She has been given so many varied and fabulous opportunities to perform and grow. She was already quite a confident person, but she has really blossomed since joining AAPA, and her skills have developed greatly as the teachers are all amazing. Friendship is another important aspect of AAPA life. All the kids have a shared love for dance and performing so they’ve got this close-knit bond which is amazing to see! 🥰
My daughters love being part of the AAPA family. They have been given so much opportunities including preforming on stage regularly, attending workshops, taking part in the Aberdeen Christmas parade, social activities with friends and even travelling and performing throughout Scotland, Birmingham and Disneyland Paris. AAPA is a safe, friendly, positive place for children to learn, grow and be who they want to be. The staff are supportive, encouraging and welcoming. If you are thinking of joining the AAPA family… do it!
My 4 year old boy loved performing so we trialled him at Mini Musical Theatre at AAPA, he cried when it was time to leave, he didn't want to come home. Four years on he is still there, he has went from 1 to 7 classes a week and wants to do more. I love how he himself has chosen to do exams and competitions, his confidence has soared. He truly has found his second home.
Amazing dance studio, a great range of different dance styles that you can choose from. My daughter has been going there for years and would always recommend aapa. There is lots of different opportunitys for the children to do. The staff and all of the other children are all welcoming and are always willing to help.

Claire has taught our girls privately for just over a year now and the difference in their confidence is amazing, I never thought one of my daughters would go on stage by herself let alone love it. Their ability and love for dance has grown stronger as Claire has shared her passion with them. When Claire started her own dance school the girls wanted to compete and continue under Claire’s tutorship. She really does bring the best out in the girls she teaches, she cares deeply about each girls individual development and them being the best version of themselves no matter their individual level. Her love for dance reflects in the girls and they love her natural, positive and encouraging teaching style. I also have taken up adult tap with Claire and it is the highlight of my week and a great way to keep fit, I can attest for her as a teacher myself and she is blessed with the patience of a saint!

This may be a small dance school at present but it is mighty and I know there are great things happening and to also to come, I highly recommend anyone to give Danspirations a try whether it be for your son, daughter or yourself, you will not be disappointed and Claire’s infectious smile, love for dance and passion for teaching and dedication to those in her classes will keep you coming back for more I can guarantee. So if your looking for a dance school where your child (or you) matters then danspirations is the new dance school for you 💜

From the moment you meet Claire she is so friendly and helpful. Beth loves her Saturday mornings at her class.....even if it was a ropey start with shyness. Thanks to Claire she’s gaining confidence now :-)
This is a great place

My daughter has been studying dance here for a number of years and takes classes in ballet, modern contemporary and jazz. Her younger brother also takes boys hip hop. They both really enjoy the classes and the teachers are energetic and engaging. It can be very crowded as classes change but it is a popular school. My wife and I look forward to the shows that are performed every three years.
Dance studio giving quality tuition, but in need of decoration and heating
