We‘ve been to the El Gaucho on several occasions with the company, so pricing is not really considered in this review.
As for the rest, the service has always been great and courteous while the food has been delivered quickly, even for a large group, and was good. I especially liked their Asian Steak Tartare last time, as it gives a good twist to an old classic. Overall a very pleasant place to enjoy a delicious steak.

Undoubtedly, the establishment is excessively priced. The 200 euros spent for a meal for two (even excluding alcohol)featuring a T-bone steak priced at 13 euros per 100g, could have been better utilized on a trip to Spain for a far superior dining experience. Regrettably, the starters were lacking in taste, although I concede that the T-bone steak provided some enjoyment. Nevertheless, our waiter demonstrated deficient communication skills and unfriendliness, never proactively checking on the food but checked out clothes and our outfit, some Yugo guy that seems not being happy working there.
In contrast, my experiences at Rochus have consistently delivered superior service and dishes. The ambiance at this costly steak place falls short, particularly when seated in the front near the garden – resembling a corridor next to the elevators. Adding to the inconvenience, the toilets are situated downstairs by the lift, necessitating a code for access. The staff directed me there without furnishing the required code. Overall, the encounter was disheartening, and I have no intention of returning. The service was lacking, and the elevated prices are unjustifiable for the quality of the food.
In general, opting for a flight to Spain, enjoying dinner there, would not only be a more cost-effective choice but also a superior dining experience compared to this place, which seems like a rip-off trap. While some people in Vienna might accept being taken advantage of, I certainly do not, especially considering the various comments I've read that still I can not believe we been in same place!

Really good meet. It’s not cheap, but to taste a good food with lovely gathered wine card costs it’s money.
They will happily sell you a chuck-eye as a rib-eye for 60€. Once they do give you the right cut after complaining about ripping you off the food will be quite good though.

Great steak! Very good value. The service was polite, informed and very helpful. The assortment of wines is okay. The meat was very good, on point, a great steak. They have different sauces as well. The place looks modern, well kept and it’s located in a nice area. Great place 👍.

The best Argentinian Restaurant in Vienna. Everything here is top level, the taste is amazing! I never thought that I would experience such an Argentinian taste anywhere outside Argentina but this guys did it! The quality is extremely high and the price is accessible.

One of the best steak house in Vienna. Exceptional meat , well cooked and tender. Good service and reasonable prices. Found that hidden jewel on my last business trip to Vienna. Highly recommended!
