Today I had my appointment here and I'm very, very happy that I chose this place. The staff and doctor were amazing, kind and acknowledged. I feel like they have more personalized attention than other franchise stores. This place is a 10/10!!!!

I’ve been with Dr.Brown since 2015 after moving back to Orange County and I love coming here. The staff are amazing very attentive professional and my eyes are medically necessary so they were able to help me get my contacts covered. They have a fantastic selection of glasses and it’s always a treat to be in the old town Tustin area. Parking is a breeze and you can grab a treat afterwards. Highly recommend their office if you’re looking for a new optometrist.

Incompetent from beginning to end. After lengthy consultation, refusal to accept my suggestions of how a problem could be solved, and a week of waiting, I was informed that they had no way of filling my order - the executive bifocal style had been discontinued. After several more calls, I was finally able to get my old glasses back from them - minus the case that they lost. What is frustrating is that with a two minute search on google, I did find where they could have sent the glasses, had they been willing to listen. Oh well. Time wasted.

Amazing experience!! Went to Dr. Vu after suffering a TBI from an auto accident. I knew something else was off prior to seeing Dr. Vu and turned out my eyes were kicking outward due to the accident. Through many enjoyable, challenging, and extremely interesting therapy sessions, my headaches improved and my vision became far better. I cannot recommend this business enough and the entire staff are friendly, professional, and great to talk to. I can’t imagine where’d I’d be without having found Dr. Vu.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Vu. She is an awesome eye doctor, very knowledgeable. She helped save my eyesight. Her treatment of kertoconus and the scleral contact lens have given me almost perfect vision. I recommend her and her practice to anyone. I will drive over 2 hours for an appointment. That is how much I trust her.

Adrianne, the receptionist, is the most pleasant customer service person I’ve ever encountered; however, she must’ve been in on the scam!! My insurance allows a new pair of glasses every two years. Dr. Sharieff immediately recommended to inquire about a free medical contact lenses paid for by Aetna/EyeMed insurance. I arrived in her office on January 20 this year, went through a most thorough examination I’ve ever encountered and was told by Dr. Sharieff her request from my contact lenses would be sent that same day. I never received any acknowledgment from anyone. I called the office and asked if the Dr. had heard any answer from my insurance no was always the answer. In the meantime, from January through April, I was as haphazardly fitted with contacts that were worse than my 3 year old glasses with which I came on my initial visit! In my frustration, I chose another optometrist and contacted my insurance regarding the request for medical contacts by Dr. Sharieff and was informed my Aetna/EyeMed had been refused back at the end of January!!!
Do not trust this business!!! My next move is to report Dr. Sharieff to the California Board of Obstetricians!

I went here for about close to 7 years in my time in OC and the people here are all amazing! The staff & doctors are incredibly kind and helpful, whether it's eye tests, paperwork, or finding the best lenses for your prescription. It's one of my favorite experiences at an optometrist!

I had a specific eye test performed at 17th Street Optometry. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very professional. In particular, Parker went above and beyond the call of duty. Glad he worked with me. Very nice office.

Dr.Shaieff has horrible bedside manners.

They were so amazing! I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. All the staff were so friendly and listened to my concerns. Darell was especially helpful. I have really bad light sensitivity so he walked me through my options to get axon optics lens with my prescription. Dr. Coloma was also so friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to use my insurance too for a new pair of normal glasses and I love the frames. The pair I got with axon optics have already been SO helpful and I've only had them for a week. Darell was right, they aren't a miracle cure but I've definitely had less headaches. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable optometrist.

Go to any one of a number of qualified optometrists do not go to this facility.

I did a walk in not knowing what to expect. They greeted me immediately, engaged in conversation and were clearly quite competent. The exam/evaluation was excellent. I had been looking for an optometrist that could meet my very unusual eyesight needs.. They would appear to be a perfect solution. I will reserve final assessment until after I receive my progressives. But in general they were extremely professional and friendly. I actually enjoyed The Visit

She is an exceptional optometrist, in every way possible, her skill, knowledge, caring and familiarity with her patients should be the standard by which every optometrist is measured. Her staff are professional, personable and professional. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and they always have great frames to choose from.

I have seen Dr. Brody and Dr. Elson.
They are both knowledgeable, kind and explain well what is being done and the results thereof. The staff is also kind and very helpful. It is always a pleasant experience. I would definitely
recommend their optical office.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Broady for 25+ years. I’d prefer to never go anywhere esle but I know she will retire eventually :( She is very nice, thorough and definitely knows her stuff. The office is up-to-date with latest technology, clean and inviting. The staff are nice too. I definitely recommend them!

Great staff, very good optometrist. Also good with kids. Very good selection and they can order other models from most brands they carry.

There were issues with the appt but the office was quick to apologize and correct/redirect what they could. Which is appreciated.

I broke my glasses and the heroes at Old Town Tustin Eyecare came to my rescue! I called them up to see if they could help me out and they had me come in right away - and even though my frames were a total pain to work with, they got the job done and were wonderful and welcoming the whole time. I am so appreciative of your team - what a great group!

I had a great experience in this clinic. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful,Emily and Chloe are awesome . Emily even helped my daughter to select her frame. Doctor was really good in checking the eye very well and explaining the result.

The staff makes a concerted effort to always be welcoming and helpful, and Dr. Lieu's passion for her work shines through in her earnest engagement with patients. Highly recommended!

The people at the nearby Cosctco quickly shooed me away when I asked them to look at my new sunglasses.

I happened by the District Eyecare as they were nearby and had a good tating on google.

The people at District Eyecare were happy to look at my sunglasses. Ted took the time to explain different lenses, weighing the pros and cons of each. He made sure that I ultimately left happy with glasses that I was more than content with.

I can’t say enough good things about this place.
Starting with Dr. Le who is exceptional! She explained all the contacts lenses options that I had vs progressive glasses after a thorough visit. She provided me with contacts fitting and several options of contacts samples to see which ones worked better for me and she did not rush me in making a decision at all.
Everyone who works at this store is knowledgeable and very polite, they also have a great selection of frames for every budget and they take my insurance.

Dr Silverberg is amazing, he always greets you with a smile and is a true professional at his work. However the main reason I wrote this review is to say the front desk lady Pam is probably the most rudest person I have ever met. Her looks alone could kill, she talks to you in a condescending way. I dread going to the office just to talk to her and deal with her snobby attitude and looks. However if it wasn’t for the Dr I would never come back I love his service and location is perfect.

Fantastic experience! This is a very professional group. The office staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful, they don't miss a beat with scheduling, notifications or insurance. Dr. Brown (Susan) was excellent. She was extremely patient with my very detailed descriptions of my eyes and vision status, and my special needs for my computer work station set up.
Their frames shop is top notch and has a great variety of styles.

I had been going to Dr. Sandoval for as long as I remember, and I never went to anyone else because he was that great. It has been bittersweet to know that this amazing man will no longer be around to be my optometrist due to his recent retirement. I will forever miss him but wish him the best and hope he is enjoying life to the fullest!

I have been a patient of Dr. Silverberg for years, and he is fantastic. The office staff at Jamboree Optometry is fantastic, and go above and beyond to help with paperwork, insurance issues, eyeglass selection, and the overall process.

I have been a customer for 10 years and have had nothing but outstanding service. They've been helpful in finding ways to make my $$ stretch to get all the services I need under my health plan. They have been great a spotting issues with my eyes too. Very compassionate and kind.

Myself and two family members saw the Dr. We felt they provided the most minimal amount service to be able to bill your insurance. Anything above that, of course is a cost to you, even though these services are included at other optometrists. The office manager lack of interest to understand my insurance plan, cost me out of pocket $600. I inquired about coverage for my contact lenses, as they have always been covered by my previous insurance, due to my unique prescription. Her response was “can you see out of your glasses”. I asked the Dr. about it too and he responded that the office manager handles the insurance and he was not familiar with it. My new optometrist understands my insurance and my contacts cost me nothing, as in the past.

Absolutely love Old Town Tustin Eye Care!! Dr. Darren Brown has been my optometrist for all of my eye care needs. I have actually gone to Dr. Brown for the past 9 years since he was at the Irvine office and moved over in Tustin. He is the best optometrist there is because he really cares about his patients and very passionate about his work. He is very detail oriented, knowledgeable, honest, personable, patient, and give the best care possible. Especially since my prescription is really high (I've been nearsighted since I was in kindergarten and only has gotten dramatically worse in high school), my eyes require the highest quality care and attention. Dr. Brown always made sure my vision is balanced from the contacts/glasses and keep up with the health of my eyes. The staff at Old Town Tustin is also very nice and attentive. The doctors and staff will definitely take care of you! I only have the highest compliment for Dr. Brown, he is my forever optometrist and my husband goes to him, too, now.

Dr. Brown has been my eye doctor for the past several years and my care and dealings with the office staff have been nothing short of exceptional. My previous eye doctor and his office were fine, as have been all of the offices I have visited since I was a child (lots of poor vision in my family), but every aspect of my visits to this office and with Dr. Brown have been consistently 5-star.

Dr. Brown is attentive, and every suggestion he has made (or helped me make) in my eye care has been the right one to help the health of my eyes and consistency of my vision. The office seems to have state-of-the-art equipment. It is modern and professional, and the choice of glasses is quite diverse.

The various office staff I have interacted with are consistently courteous, helpful, and incredibly efficient. Need to figure out the rebates on contacts? They print you extra receipts and walk you through the process. Need extra help on choosing frame styles to match your face? They are rather stylish people themselves and have helped me choose frames from the very vague descriptions of my preferences.

This is a fantastic set of people. You should definitely visit.

They take great care of my eyes, have a clean and inviting office and carry a great selection of glasses/frames. However, the reason I return is because the staff and doctors genuinely care for me and my family. You can never underestimate the power of making someone feel valued. I have been coming to The District Eye Care for over three years. From the moment I walked by I knew they had the selection I was looking for and after meeting the staff I am a client for life. I have purchased over 15 pairs of sunglasses/ eyeglasses from them to date. Not only do they have an enormous selection of frames they have them in all sizes.

Dr. Lori Yoo is wonderful. She has given me the perfect experience, she remembered me by name after my first visit and is excellent at getting the exam right. My eyes have never felt better. She also pays very close attention to the staff she has working in the office and cares a great deal about the service her clients receive. You are welcomed with refreshments and a very positive staff.

Crystal R. has personally helped me pick out most of my frames, she remembers the styles that look best on me and when I come in for my yearly check up she has always been ready with new recommendations for me, I have always had a difficult time finding stylish frames for my face and with her help and the MASSIVE selection it has been a breeze and something I look forward to.

Kelly M is the latest addition to the team and she was wonderful at selecting 3 new frames for me during my last visit and during this holiday season she made sure I had them BEFORE I had even requested. She called me days in advance with an update and has made the experience wonderful.
