We had a fantastic wedding at the Whitby castle. The food and atmosphere were excellent and the assistance of Niki, Ralph, and Gabriel made the evening perfect. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

We wish we could give Whitby Castle more than five stars! We just had our wedding there, and it exceeded even our highest hopes and expectations. Niki and Ralph were incredibly warm, responsive, courteous, and professional, from the contract to the moment we drove off at the end of the reception.

The food was exceptionally good, and it was plentiful. They also offered us a few extra food offerings (a couple special appetizers, a sundae bar with all the toppings you could ever want, donuts and apple cider that guests could take as they left, etc.) that were not at all expensive, and we got so many compliments from everyone for them. The whole event ran smoothly thanks to Ralph's work orchestrating it the whole afternoon and evening, and their server staff were also very professional and on the ball.

To say we feel we got our money's worth is an understatement, and we took advantage of the long holiday weekend to have our event on a Thursday, at a discounted price and with a lower minimum of attendees. We can't list the myriad little details offered by Whitby Castle that made the whole thing easier and more affordable than expected.

We were able to relax, savor the moment, and enjoy our day with all of our friends and family. We cannot recommend Whitby Castle enough. Thank you, Niki and Ralph!

We had the perfect wedding day at Whitby Castle! Niki and Ralph helped to make our day a success. The food was great and there are SO MANY options. The staff is professional and we would recommend Whitby!

It's a lovely venue for weddings. Cocktail hour was on their wrap around deck overlooking the golf course. Dinner inside, a large lovely room with lots of windows and adjoining room was used for the bar /dance floor. My only complaint and this is common in weddings, the music was way too loud. Very annoying after awhile, I went to sit in the lobby for a break. No way to have a conversation without screaming at each other. It's not a rock concert where you came to just listen to the music. It's not necessary to be that loud and it muffles the sound.

Niki Viera and Whitby castle are AMAZING! Recently, my husband and I attended our in-laws’ wedding and were obsessed with how beautiful Whitby was for their wedding. They spoke so highly of Whitby Castle and Niki Viera who was their Catering Sales Manager. My husband and I booked our wedding at Whitby asap!! We have been working closely with Niki who is very attentive, answers e-mails/calls immediately, and never hesitates to offer her expert advice. She has made wedding planning so easy and has been so incredibly helpful, especially at our tasting as we picked menu options for the big day. Niki’s patience, care, and flexible nature makes her so easy to work with. She has a positive attitude and makes everyone feel at home in her presence. Her help has truly has made the wedding planning experience so enjoyable and easy to do! Niki and the Whitby Castle dream team are second to none and the best that there is! A new favorite venue for wedding photography! The castle is a stunning backdrop for a wedding ceremony. The back patio overlooking the golf is also amazing. And the staff always runs a smooth wedding day. Can't wait to get back.
