Lovely coffee shop in downtown Northfield. Love the historic ambiance. My peach scone was amazing! Clean. Pleasant. Great decor

My family and I were wanting dinner after just enjoying a movie at the theater. Being Christmas day, I thought there would be no chance of this anywhere near. We were surprised to find the Hideaway coffee house open. Even more surprising, they apparently do a free meal every Christmas! Even though it was close to their closing, they welcomed us in, all with smiles and cheerfulness! I enjoyed interacting with the staff and the food was delicious! And despite a constant 4 hour flow of people through there, the tables and bathrooms were all clean. This was our first visit but will absolutely NOT be our last! Props to the owners and all the staff who took time on Christmas to do this. Simply heartwarming.

Today was our 1st time at the HideAway. Very cool and unique building/interior. Food was great where they were happy to make a bread change for me on the sandwich I ordered. Staff was very friendly, too. Had nice wine options, too. We will be back!

Love lunches at The Hideaway. Great sandwiches, salads, and soups. Wednesday's and Thursdays enjoy 1/2 off bottles of wine!

The cutest coffeeshop with the friendliest employees. I will come back to Northfield just so I can come back and bring everyone I know here. My lavender latte was perfect.

Great experience! The ladies were lovely at the register and helped me choose my food and coffee. A bit over priced but what isn’t now a days?! I’ll be back .. one day

Absolutely delicious! And I was so delighted they had gluten free options, like gluten free bread or wraps, and some gluten free baked goods, too! My sandwich (The Pilgrim) was super flavorful and delicious. It came with a side of either chips and a pickle or a kale salad. I chose the kale salad, and it paired well with my sandwich. It was lightly sweet, with craisins and pecans. I also had an aptly-named drink called a Sunshine Soda, which really did evoke the vibe of sunshine! Everything was excellent!

Our favorite coffee place when we come to visit my family in Northfield! Quality food and delicious coffee.
